Barbara has 33 years experience in the travel industry, 18 of those dedicated to villa rentals.

Barbara, brings her expertise in European Destinations and Villas to the team at Villas of Distinction.Barbara began her career in travel in Lexington, Massachusetts at the age of 24 with a local travel agency after 2 years of college studying art history and design. Barbara had already crossed the pond at a very early age visiting her grandparents in England. After an extensive trip to the cultural centers of Europe, she had been completely captured by the travel bug and the wonders of exploring all aspects of European culture. Vacation travel was her specialty for years until being introduced to the Villa Experience in 1990. Starting with a company specializing in villa rentals in St. Barts and most of the Caribbean, Barbara was well on her way to completing her portfolio of favorite villa destinations in both Europe and the Caribbean.

Barbara’s specialty is the European Villa Experience, with all the trimmings. She enjoys sharing her knowledge, so no matter what the interest is, food, wine, art, history or shopping, she will always have a few tips on where to go. When not busy traveling the globe, Barbara enjoys spending time with her husband and friends, usually cooking up a new recipe she found on her travels or exploring the antique and garden shops of New England.
