Villa Luisa is a beautiful 18th century villa which is located in the panoramic Morianese hills just 5 kms from the medieval town of Lucca. The Villa provides comfortable accommodation for 8 to 10 people in 5 bedrooms. For 5 generations the Villa has been the home of a noble family. All those with a love of antiques will appreciate the museum like quality of the villa. The villa is surrounded by an attractive mature garden with swimming pool, chapel,bar area and alfresco dining facilities.

Every room of the villa features rich details, including frescoed ceilings, chandeliers, carpets and brocade wallpaper. The furnishings are both beautiful and comfortable, and an eclectic mix of richly colored antiques and contemporary upholstered pieces. All bathrooms are tiled and have modern fixtures. Most of the beds have new orthopedic mattresses There are several sitting rooms for relaxing. A particular favorite of guests is the one situated on the ground floor as this remains pleasantly cool during the hot summer months and leads to the garden via French doors.

Ground Floor: On the ground floor there is an entrance hall, a great fully equipped kitchen with a marble topped table and all appliances , a breakfast room with fireplace, a sitting room with fire place, family dining table and French doors leading to the front garden, a formal dining room, There are also a bathroom, a laundry room with a washing machine and a cloakroom and telephone

First Floor"Piano Nobile": On the first floor, the "Piano Nobile", there is the large central Salon with a grand piano and furnished with several antiques. The French doors leading onto front staircase wich descends into the garden.

The master bedroom is a double bedroom with four poster bed and ensuite bathroom with bath tub and separate shower. There is also a safe in this bedroom. You will also find an additional double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower.

Second Floor: On the 2nd floor there is a sitting room, one double bedroom with private bathroom with shower just beside the room and 2 twin or double bedrooms with their own private bathroom with shower nearby.

Garden & Pool Area: The garden, with plenty of shady areas is well equipped with outdoor furniture and ideal for dining outdoors.

The beautiful chapel situated on the grounds of the villa is also from the 18th century and is an exact replica of the chapel of `Madonna di Loreto` especially important since the original was destroyed by fire.

At the front of the villa the garden is on two levels. The lower level, originally the water reservoir, now accomodates the swimming pool (6 x 6 meters 2,70 the deepest point) There is a bar area with its own fridge, ice machine and HiFi. The upper level has alfresco dining facilities and barbeque area.

Telephone & Internet: There is a telephone in the living room at the ground floor payable by meter. The house has WIFI broadband internet access, this is the only villa in Lucca which such connection, it means from anywhere in the house including the pool one can connect to the internet with a lap top computer.

Location Information: Villa Luisa is located just 500 meters from the village of S.Quirico di Moriano, 5km north of Lucca that can be reach in less than 10 minutes. Pisa can be reached in 20 minutes, the coast in 30 minutes and Florence in 1 hour.

Please Note: In Low Season(November thru March a two week minimum booking is required and there is a 1,000 Euro surcharge for heating.
Rentals are from Saturday to Saturday with the arrival time being after 4:00pm and departure prior to 11:00am.
