This charming Tuscan farmhouse with separate guest quarters sits high atop a hill on 10 acres in Montepulciano Italy, right next to the famous San Biagio church and only a half mile from the center of town. Podere Concezione, meaning Immaculate Conception, is surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. Although it is hundreds of years old, it has been completely restored with the modern conveniences including internet, satellite TV, and laundry facilities, while keeping the original walls and beams intact to retain the look and feel of the old world.

The house is a personal residence of an Arizona Family that lives in both the United States and Italy. It has been furnished with local antiques, personal art and furniture. The home has a family room as well as a separate reading/living room. The dining room comfortably seats 10 for a traditional Tuscan meal, and also has a large new outdoor area with a BBQ making it great for entertaining. The main house has 3-separate bedrooms and baths, and the detached guest house has its own bedroom, bathroom and sitting room.

The drive up to Podere Concezione is extremely historical and romantic. The street to San Baigio, a 500 year old church that has been home to many miracles, as well as in numerous photographs and movies, is lined with Cyprus trees planted in memory of Italian Soldiers killed in WW1. When you pull up to the church one is awestruck with its beauty and history. It is here where the private driveway to Podere Concezione starts. It¿s a half mile driveway through a romantic setting of large trees before you come upon the gated entry. The Farmhouse sits high on the hill with sweeping views of Olive Groves, Vineyards and of course the Tuscan Countryside.

Montepulciano is a renaissance town in Southern Tuscany and an important agricultural center, and is also known for the vineyards of the famous Vino Di Montepulciano. The city was founded by the Etruscans over 2500 years ago and later became a Roman winter encampment. It has a fortress dating back to the 8th century and medieval "palazzo" or residences from the 13th century which recall the history of the communes.

Podere Concezione is a comfortable and welcoming place for couples or a group. This is the perfect location for anyone in search of a peaceful retreat with breathtaking panoramic views.
