Manoir Le Gouray is a beautifully restored 18th century large, 6 bedroom manor house in Brittany, on the edge of the forest of Boquen, just 2 miles from the villages of Le Gouray and Collinee, both with a selection of shops, bars and restaurants.

The property has large grounds, with a lawn for children to play. The accommodation is separated into three buildings, the Manor House, Garden House and Artist Studio. Set around a central garden, each has its own unique charm and style with original features complemented by antique furnishings.

20 minutes north of this manor house in Brittany is the medieval town of Lamballe with shops and restaurants and rail links to Rennes and Paris. A further 20 minutes is the fine port town of Val Andre and the wonderful coastline of northern Brittany with its coves, cliff top walks and sandy beaches, typical of this region of France. This large manor house in Brittany offers spacious accommodation in a picturesque setting. Note: The properties can only be reserved as a whole during July, August and Christmas. Other dates the artist studio is occupied by the owners.

Ground Floor: Living/dining room (TV/DVD/portable CD) with dining table for 12, large stone fireplace with wood burner stove, French doors to terrace and gardens. Guest WC. Kitchen with stairs leading to mezzanine level. Open plan twin bedroom (2 x 1.20m antique beds) which also has access to first floor. The stairs from the kitchen to this bedroom are steep wooden stairs - these can be gated to protect young children. Please request upon booking. Guest WC.

First Floor: Double bedroom. Twin bedroom (2 antique beds). Shower room. Bathroom. Separate WC.

THE GARDEN HOUSE
Garden Level: Open plan living/dining/kitchen (originally the main conservatory) sliding windows and French doors open the room to the garden.
5 steps lead into upper level: Master double bedroom. This bedroom leads to an inner hallway, from which exit Twin bedroom, shower room, WC, bathroom, WC. The Manor & Garden house are joined by a "grand salon" - a large living area with stone fireplace and French doors onto garden.

ARTIST STUDIO with external access only
First Floor: Living/dining/kitchen area (TV/Video) with balcony overlooking garden. Double bedroom, ensuite shower room, WC.

Grounds: Lovely, large private garden. Heated pool. Barbecue.
