Mafalda Amalfi Coast

Distant from the chaos of the more popular sites on the island of Capri, Villa Mafalda is strategically positioned on the street that leads from Anacapri to the renowned Blue Grotto.

Guests can enjoy breathtaking views of the island of Ischia and the Mediterranean sea. Mafalda was built by a German aristocrat and dedicated to his wife, a descendant of the Italian Royal Family. Rooms decorated in typical Caprese style, including local tiles and whitewashed walls. Bronze and marble statues are featured in different areas of the property. Boat rental is available (typical Caprese boats called “gozzi”) from Marina Grande Harbor for day cruises to visit the marvelous coast of Capri and the nearby Sorrento. Day tours to Positano and to the Roman city of Pompeii, as well as excursions to the roman ruins of Villa Iovis in Capri can be arranged. Capri is only 10 minutes away by car.

Ground Floor: Beautiful dining room with fireplace. Brand-new fully-equipped eat-in kitchen with mosaic tiles and marble counter. Lovely living room with direct access to the pool area. Décor is simple, yet elegant and sophisticated. 2 queen/twin bedrooms each with private bathroom (one with shower and other with tub). 1 twin bedroom with private bathroom with shower.

First Floor: Additional sitting/TV room that opens to a terrace with incredible views. 1 master bedroom with private bathroom with tub.

Outdoors: Private swimming pool, gardens, terraced shaded areas for dining al fresco, panoramic porch, and balconies with outdoor furniture.
