Regina Bianca - Praiano/ Amalfi Amalfi Coast

Centrally located in Praiano, a charming former fishing village situated between Amalfi and Positano.

Just a flight of steps from the main coastal road and all necessities of a small town – butchers, fruit & vegetable shops, grocery store, post office, bank, and the local coastal bus stop for Positano, Sorrento and Amalfi. Its secluded location high above the coastline, surrounded by large terraces planted with palm trees and flowers, makes Villa Regina Bianca an exclusive oasis of privacy and peace, offering fantastic views towards Positano and Capri.

The villa is laid out on three floors and the top tower. About 450 feet from the villa, a pathway of steps takes you all the way down to the Praia beach near the Saracen tower of Praiano. The bathing establishment has sun chairs and umbrellas, and a restaurant and bar serves great food.

First floor:
The entrance has an iron door leading onto a paved patio with potted flowers and trees, overlooking the terraces and the pool area. The patio is furnished with a wicker sofa, 4 iron chairs, a small glass topped table and 2 dining tables with chairs. The patio has 3 French doors leading into the villa’s living room and dining area. The dining room, adorned with Roman amphora, features a large, glass-topped table and fragments of original roman columns with seating for 12. The kitchen is well equipped with refrigerator, freezer with icemaker, 5-range stovetop, oven, microwave, and dishwasher. The entrance foyer with stairs connecting to the upper and lower floors is furnished with antique furniture, a marble table, and grand piano. The living room enjoys 3 sofas, armchairs, a fireplace, glass topped table, TV and charming pieces of antique furniture. A small, cosy work studio with views of the garden is furnished with an armchair, small sofa, writing desk, and stereo.

Ground floor:
19 steps lead down to the 6 double bedrooms. All rooms have a dresser and/or wardrobe, TV and DVD, en-suite bathroom with shower and French doors leading directly onto the terrace. Each bedroom leads out onto a corridor, which also has a closet for luggage. One of the rooms leads onto a small terrace furnished with garden furniture, chairs, and a small table.

Tower Suite:
The villa’s top floor enjoys two double bedrooms, one with a double bed (two mattresses) and French doors leading out onto a small panoramic balcony, the other with twin beds and a window. Both bedrooms share a small bathroom with shower. The tower’s bedrooms are reachable up 25 steps along an external staircase or by access through the garden directly from the entrance gate.

Second floor: (Only upon request)
The master bedroom leads out onto a panoramic terrace with a French window. The room enjoys a large double bed, wardrobe, TV and DVD, and spacious en-suite bathroom in mosaic tiles with a bathtub and shower. The second floor also enjoys a living room and separate billiard room. The living room enjoys several sofas, coffee tables, a large telescope and TV.

Terrace/garden:
The terrace of the main level enjoys built-in benches for seating, a pizza oven, barbeque, and ping-pong table. 19 steps lead down to a wonderful pool set on a terrace paved with natural stone and lined by white columns. The pool deck is equipped with outdoor shower, large umbrellas, lounge chairs and a corner of the terrace is shaded by flourishing lemon and orange trees. The terrace and the pool are up lit up at night.

Access: 67 steps lead from the coastal road down to the gate of the property. 30 steps take you down to the first floor.
