Bird of Paradise Anguilla

Bird of Paradise is a fabulous, new, four bedroom villa named after the rare and exotic bird of Papua New Guinea.

Designed by the architectural firm that designed the Amandari in Bali, Four Seasons in Hawaii, the Atlantis in the Bahamas and Las Ventanas in Cabo San Lucas, The Bird is designed in an Asian Tropical style with meandering, lagoon style pools that weave betweenthe four buildings to create an intimate compound lush with vegetation. A 2 minute direct path to the beach. A sunken verandah, outside living room with a fireplace, large sun porch, indoor/outdoor dining, and Indonesian bale, or day bed, all increase the intimacy and warmth of this exquisite villa.

The Bird of Paradise offers four master suites with an office that can serve as a 5th bedroom. The placement of the four suites, each with its own balcony and equal, panoramic views, assures individual privacy for guests. Each suite has its own refrigerator and coffee service. Frette Linens, robes and slippers; Voss water, Bvlgari amenities; and Kona coffee enhance the luxury of this tropical retreat. Furniture and intricately carved stone tables, planters, and wall murals were all custom-designed and made for the owners in Bali. The villa also showcases their oceanic and African art collection gathered over the past 20 years.

Bird of Paradise is highly secluded. It is located above Sandy Hill Bay with direct access to a long and lovely crescent beach. Six countries can be seen from the verandahs, including the mountains of St. Maarten and St. Barths.

  • Bedroom 1 - Master Suite in private pavilion with pool. King size bed, dressing room and table, mini bar, ensuite with jacuzzi, two sinks, indoor and outdoor showers, and private verandah with pool, A/C.
  • Bedroom 2 - King size bed. Ensuite with two sinks, jacuzzi, shower. private verandah, walk-In Closet, A/C and mini bar.
  • Bedroom 3 - Two queen size beds on lower level. Private verandah, A/C, walk-in close, and mini bar. Ensuite with shower and dressing table.
  • Bedroom 4 - King size bed , or two twins Private verandah, mini bar, A/C and private verandah. Shared ensuite with shower and built-in dressing table. Adjoining sitting room/office with desk, TV and fax.
  • Bedroom 5 (sitting room) - Connected to Bedroom 4 can be a nursery, an office or has two daybeds (30ft x 75ft) for children 10 and under. Shared ensuite with Bedroom 4. TV, A/C and walled patioThere are 4 full bathrooms and one half bathroom

Beach Details

  • Sandy Hill Bay. Lovely crescent beach with excellent snorkeling. Protected for mooring yachts. 2 minute walk down a path from the villa.

Staff Details

  • Property manager works exclusively for the Bird of Paradise and will
  • Meet and greet you upon arrival at the anguilla airport or dock.
  • Staff prepares daily continental breakfast
  • 24 hour concierge
  • Daily housekeeping (2 maids)
  • Groundsman to assist with beach chairs, etc.
  • Pool and Maintenance on staff.
  • Security system with 24 hour monitoring
