Buccaneer Hill Bahamas

Located in the historic village of Governor’s Harbour, Buccaneer Hill sits high on a hilltop overlooking Cupid’s Cay.

With stunning views, ample shade and large garden, the property captures the essence of outdoor Caribbean living on the island of Eleuthera.

First built in the 1800s, the historic house was completely restored in 2009 by new owners. The main house sleeps 12 guests in 5 bedrooms along with a separate cottage that can be rented together with the house or on its own. Each bedroom has a bathroom en suite and opens onto a verandah.

The house sits on nearly 2 acres with mature fruit and poinciana trees creating wonderful places to relax and enjoy the views. Dine inside, under porch cover or BBQ outside by the pool. At dusk enjoy the varying sunsets across the Eleuthera Sound, and watch the brightest of stars begin to emerge.

Within walking distance of the soft pink sand beaches of Eleuthera, Buccaneer Hill is the perfect location for a wonderful family vacation, a special reunion or a small secluded wedding.

On the ground floor is a large living and dining area spanning the length and width of the house. Outside a large verandah faces the sea, and offers two additional sitting areas and covered dining. A modern kitchen with full amenities is located just off the main room.

There is a bedroom and en suite bathroom on this level with a Queen Bed and convenient separate entrance. It has its own porch and overlooks the pool area and beyond to South Eleuthera.

All bedrooms have ceiling fans, screened windows and air conditioning. On the second floor there are 3 Bedrooms comprising the following:

• Master Bedroom with King Bed and en suite bathroom and its own balcony with sitting area
• Second Bedroom with King Bed and en suite bathroom and private balcony access
• Third Bedroom with 2 Full Beds and en suite bathroom and private balcony access

The large finished attic room provides additional accommodation comprising:

• 4 Single Beds with Living Area and en suite bathroom

The Cottage

A separate cottage sleeps 2 in a 4-poster King Bed with Living area, Bathroom, Kitchen and verandah. This can be rented separately or along with the Main House.
