Buttsbury House Barbados

This beautiful 5 Bedroom home situated on the corner of the Polo Field, in just over an acre of mature gardens, with exceptional views of the Caribbean sea.

Built under the guidance of architect, Ian Morrison, the property has been immaculately maintained, consisting of a central, heated swimming pool and sunbathing area, around which the house is constructed.

On the sea side, there is a large comfortable sitting room with picture windows to frame the splendid view, whilst ensuring the occupants are kept wonderfully cool by a constant breeze. The house boasts a cozy television/video room, and an air-conditioned private study, which can double as a bedroom, and a large verandah, with an electric awning to provide a haven from the sun.

The master bedroom, which overlooks the pool from a second storey on the north side, is air-conditioned, with dressing room, a luxurious marble bathroom with separate shower, and a secluded balcony surrounded by tropical flowers. On the pool level, there are four air-conditioned double bedrooms, all with marble bathrooms and lots of cupboard space. One bedroom also includes a single bedded nursery or nanny's room.

The house has two large dining rooms, each with a marble dining table to seat twelve. The outside dining room is wonderfully romantic, set in a pillared gazebo, surrounded by a tropical flora and fauna.

Entertaining is easy with a large modern kitchen and pantry, with two large fridges, two stoves and dishwasher. The separate laundry room, staff quarters and garage add up to make the house area over 7000 square feet.

Bedroom and Bathroom Descriptions;The villa has two identical Master bedrooms with King size beds. All of the other bedrooms have twin beds.

All bathrooms are ensuite and have tub and showers. The first bedroom downstairs has a shower only.
