Greensleeves Estate Barbados

Greensleeves is an 11-acre private beachfront estate located on the West Coast of Barbados.

On stepping through the Mongolian Temple doors, an oasis of calm Oriental water gardens filled with lilies and active Koi carp welcomes you into the very special home. Raised teak walkways meander through the main house and connect the spacious open plan living areas to the enchanting outdoor dining room as well as flowing through to the private bedroom suites, the delightful children’s wing, the air-conditioned gym and the fully equipped home cinema.

The main house is comprised of open air living areas that look out to the extensive free form swimming pool measuring 100 feet at its widest point. In the centre of the pool is a sunken pool bar where cocktails can be served all day long under the shade of coconut trees. Or spend your day relaxing on the sun deck with your delicious drink and a good book.

Greensleeves is located on a point between two bays with expansive beach frontage and access to two beaches. To the North of the estate is the renowned Gibbs Bay and to the South is Reeds Bay - both white sand beaches with calm turquoise waters which are ideal for swimming, sunbathing or beachcombing. Directly in front of the property is a reef where you can snorkel in the clear Caribbean Sea with exotic fish, sea turtles, and colourful corals. Occasionally there are sea swells and as a result the West Coast becomes a surfer’s paradise with one of the most popular breaks located just off Reeds Bay.

All the bedroom suites are air-conditioned and each has its own terrace set amongst tropical vegetation. In total there are 4 King beds and 13 single beds (six of which may be converted into 3 king beds) so the estate can sleep a total of 22 adults. This includes the Children’s Wing to the north of the property where there is a jungle gym, bunk beds, separate kitchen, craft table, outdoor dining and nanny’s quarters.

The home cinema is air-conditioned and outfitted with cozy recliner theatre seating. It is equipped with a large screen, state-of-the-art stereo equipment, DVD player, DirecTV, Satellite dish, and a super surround stereo system. The cinema allows you to retreat from the heat of the day for a family movie night -complete with popcorn if you wish!

Greensleeves continues to impress with its 8.5 acre landscaped park located across the road from the main house. The park features a large lily pond and floodlit tennis court. There is also a large green pasture, perfect for the sport of choice, whether it is football, badminton, or Frisbee - or perhaps simply for a leisurely stroll along the park’s pathways.

Also within the Greensleeves estate is a private villa, Blue Point. Blue Point is a 4-bedroom home that can be rented separately or together with Greensleeves. The villa has its own separate pool, amenities and staff.

The estate in its entirety can accommodate up to 30 adults, providing a truly intimate and special vacation for family and great friends.

Greensleeves is located north of Blue Point (4 bedroom villa) and may be rented separately or together with Blue Point.
