Jamoon is exotic… like the deep purple mulberry like fruit with the same name that is used locally to make a delicious wine. This property, designed by an Italian interior decorator, is located 5 miles from the city of Bridgetown and 12 miles form the Grantley Adams Airport and has lush landscaped gardens.
The gardens ornament the two-storey residence which rests on the exclusive Sandy Lane Estate, allowing for easy access to nightlife and exclusive restaurants along the vibrant West Coast.
With 7 bedrooms, Jamoon is surprisingly spacious given its cottage-like exterior. It has a grand reception area with internet access where a fish tail palm tree welcomes you into a spacious, open plan living room.
The ceiling is over 20 feet high and the room sets a tone of classical elegance with its European accents and touch of modern day sophistication as well as a mixture of classical and modern furnishings.
The Squire and Longson baby grand piano are the focal points of the room and create an elegant ambience for high style entertaining. A continual cool breeze flows from the pool deck area and covered terrace with its wooden lounge chairs, card table and comfortable sofas.
The property features king, queen and twin bedrooms, all air-conditioned with ceiling fans and most with dressing rooms, en suite bathrooms and safes. French doors open the bedrooms to the gardens and pool/deck areas.
The TV room, which seats 8 people, is also fully air-conditioned with ceiling fans. A study is outfitted with computer, broadband Internet access, copier and fax machine.
There is a Swedish designed kitchen that is fully outfitted and wholly functional, blending modern stainless steel units and wooden fixtures and fittings.
