Bamboo Walk Cote D'Azur

This beautiful country house sits in a quiet and peaceful location, surrounded by vineyards, just 10 minutes walk from Grimaud village.

A picturesque hilltop village, Grimaud offers a good selection of cafes and local shops, as well as a partially restored castle, dating from the 11th century. During the summer season, a number of cultural events take place at the castle.

The house is ideal for entertaining with several outdoor dining areas, including a large covered area on the terrace outside the living room. This leads to the 11 x 5m swimming pool, which is surrounded by a wide teak deck. There is a pool house with a small fridge and also an outdoor shower. The pool has an electric cover and can be heated on request, at extra cost. The property benefits from a lovely flat garden with white rose bushes and palm trees, as well as a bamboo lined path to a small vineyard to the rear of the pool area. The entire pool area and surrounding trees are lit up at night.

The house has recently been renovated throughout to a high standard by an interior designer. There is a new fully fitted oak kitchen and all the bedrooms have air conditioning or ceiling fans, and mosquito netting on the windows. Further amenities include TV, DVD, I-pod dock and wi-fi internet access. There is a separate studio for teenagers, or staff, but maximum occupancy at this property is 10 people, and the owners prefer no children under the age of 10 years. There is a small 10 meter motor launch in Port Grimaud, 5 minutes drive away, which can be rented by guests. It is fully fitted, with a small kitchen and four berths, so can easily take 8 - 10 guests.

Ground Floor:

Entrance hall. Guest WC. Kitchen, opening to an enclosed terrace with barbecue, and gate to entrance driveway. Kitchen equipment includes 2 dishwashers, hob, Neff oven and large American fridge/freezer. Double bedroom with en-suite shower room. Large living room with French doors opening to terrace, and an office space at the rear. A corridor leads from the living room to three more bedrooms: Double bedroom with king-size bed (180 cm) which can also be made up as twin beds on request. En-suite bathroom with bath and shower. Separate WC in the corridor. Double bedroom, which can be made up as twin beds on request. Small en-suite shower room and separate WC. Both these bedrooms open to a side terrace. Another double bedroom is situated on the other side of the house and has independent access. The bed here can also be made up as twin beds on request and it has an en-suite shower room with separate WC.
