Perched on a country hilltop overlooking beautiful views of fields, hills and vineyards is The Cork Tree House.

As the name suggests this lovely Bastide style house sits amidst a forest of beautiful mature cork trees. It is located in the countryside, on a hill top, which means as a result that one has the most wonderful views of the surrounding vineyards, fields and hills beyond. The pretty medieval village of Grimaud, with its local market, shops, bars and restaurants is just 5 minutes drive away, while both the beaches and center of St Tropez are 15 minutes away.

The property is surrounded by pretty terraces and is set in a large natural garden, which during the summer months is awash with colour. Situated to the back and above the house sits a 12 x 4.5m swimming pool which has a constant depth of 1.4m , whilst close by, there is an attractive ‘’cabanon’’, a perfect spot for afternoon siestas.

In immaculate condition this relatively new house has been very tastefully decorated and furnished throughout. It has an understated style and charm. Probably the best way of describing it would be comfortable Provencal modern. It is ideal for those wanting a quiet rural retreat, while at the same time, being close enough to enjoy the bright lights of St Tropez.

There is a large welcoming entrance hall with WC and featuring an open staircase leading to the first floor. The hall leads, to a very light and spacious living room, with large bay windows to one side and French windows opening onto the garden and main terrace. The room features two very large comfortable sofas and a working fireplace. The fully equipped modern kitchen comes complete with fridge/freezer, professional gas cooker, dishwasher and large dining area. Whilst just outside there is a covered terrace for dining. There is a separate Laundry room with both washing machine and dryer. The first bedroom, which can also be used as a TV room, is on the ground floor. It has 2 single beds, making it ideal for children or teenagers; it features an en-suite shower room.

On the first floor there are 3 bedrooms. The Master bedroom has a large bed that can be made into twins and has an en-suite bathroom with shower, basins and WC. The two other bedrooms share a bathroom with bath, shower, basin and separate WC. The first bedroom has a French double bed. The second bedroom has two twin beds. All the bedrooms on this floor enjoy wonderful views of the surrounding countryside.

Additionally, there is a Studio, with separate access to the main house, which has a bedroom which can either accommodate a large double bed or two twin beds. It has an en-suite bathroom, with shower, basin and WC. The Studio also features a seating area with sofa and opens onto a pretty sheltered terrace with wrought iron table and chairs.
