There are stunning views from the house and grounds over the Gulf of St Tropez and the Maures mountains of the Var region.

Spacious both inside and out, comfortably furnished and boasting some typical features, this superbly situated villa is an ideal base for a holiday. The accommodation is arranged over several floors, with all bedrooms opening onto the attractive private grounds or, in the case of the master bedroom, onto a balcony with exceptional views of the surrounding countryside.

Nearby Grimaud is one of France's distinctive perched villages, with a 1000-year-old ruined castle and shady squares with fountains, restaurants, shops and local markets. And don't forget the colourful and lively harbour down the road at Port Grimaud (mostly traffic-free!). Slightly further away is Cogolin, well known for its craft factories, which you can visit. And if you want a day away from the beaches of the Riviera, why not head slightly inland to the Massif des Maures. These beautiful hills are thickly forested with sweet chestnut, cork oak, holly and pine trees. The village of Collobrières is the centre of the local cork and sweet chestnut industries, and if you like rambling or hiking, this is an ideal place to start. The local tourist office will be happy to suggest some good routes!
