This luxurious, contemporary, Italian style villa is set on a hillside, in 2 acres of terraced grounds, over looking Beaulieu-sur-Mer and Villefranche bay with stunning views of St Jean Cap Ferrat and the old town of Villefranche-sur-Mer.
Beaulieu, with its village square market, elegant cafes, restaurants, antique and Italian food shops is less than 3 minutes drive away, while Villefranche, with its charming port, quayside cafes and restaurants is not much further afield.
The private walled terraced gardens are very attractive offering sea views at every turn; lawns, flower beds, formal lavender beds, ancient olive trees and a wide variety of Mediterranean plants all combine to create a lush atmosphere, the center piece of which is a 17 x 7m heated overflow swimming pool with shallow entry. The poolhouse with shower, Jacuzzi, WC and rooftop terrace also affords the most stunning views of the coast and the sea beyond.
The decor is the epitome of understated style with eyecatching modern art, high ceilings, spotlights, white or pastel coloured walls and marble floors acting as a backdrop to the furnishings, which are a blend of the modern and antique.
The villa is equipped with good quality dinnerware, cutlery, glassware and fine linen. There is air-conditioning throughout, satellite TV, CD player, a Home Cinema and security alarm.
Accommodation
The property is is located on an extremely quiet lane, remote controlled gates open onto a drive that leads down to the upper parking area and on past the front door to the garage with space for three cars. There is direct entry, without steps, from the garage to the villa, which has an elevator, which can accommodate a wheelchair, with access to all the floors of the property.
Gound level:
The front door of the villa opens into a very elegant and luminous hall with a short staircase to the main living area, from which, one is immediately struck by the spectacular views of the coast and sea beyond the large terrace, pool and garden. Infact, there are ceiling to floor windows in all of the rooms for the full length of this floor.
The light and spacious main living area comprises; central salon with comfortable seating area, interior garden, grand piano, second seating area, large French windows with access onto a large covered sea-view terrace and alcove seating. On the same level there is a formal dining room, again with stunning sea views, a very elegant fully equipped modern kitchen with marble work surfaces, American fridge/freezer and seating area with sea views, a TV room and a guest WC. There is a corridor to the a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, shower, WC, with French windows to the main terrace and sea views. There is also a Home Cinema on this floor, featuring a giant screen and state-of-the-art sound system.
Upper level:
There is a Master bedroom suite with large double bedroom, access to a covered sea view terrace, walk-in dressing room and access to black marble bathroom with walk-in shower and main en-suite bathroom with hydro massage bath, bidet and WC. Corridor with elevator access leading to a double bedroom with French windows to the terrace and en-suite bathroom. Another double bedroom with en-suite black marble shower bathroom with walk-in shower and French windows to sea view balcony. Door to second corridor, which leads to two double bedrooms, both of which have a private balcony and dedicated bathrooms with walk-in shower and WC. The final bedroom, with access to the driveway, is a twin, with full bathroom, in-bath shower and WC.
