Villa St Paul is a luxuriously appointed neo Provencal villa set on two acres of manicured grounds in a small, security controlled enclave within the prestigious les Hauts de Saint Paul.
This villa offers stunning panoramic views over the surrounding countryside to the coast and the sea to Nice. The property is located off the la Colle-Saint Paul road, a paved country road leads up through the woods to the domaine and a narrow private road leads straight up to security gates. A little further up the road, high remote controlled, wrought iron gates open onto a long driveway, flanked by flower filled giant Anduze jardinières and leading up the villa level. Olive trees and vast lawns sweep down to the right and, to the left, there is a paved exterior courtyard with entry to a guardian's apartment, an ancient olive tree in a flowerbed circled by a low old stone wall, entry to a separate guest apartment, and a high very impressive beamed archway leading to the villas interior courtyard with wall fountain, entry to the villa, and covered parking for two cars.
The house is beautifully decorated, with white and pastel coloured walls, pale cream, polished Burgundy stone floors, and high ceilings with numerous spotlights. High quality modern and pale coloured antique furniture; oriental carpets; contemporary, very high quality prints and glass sculpture are to the fore. Light and colour prevail, creating a wonderful summer atmosphere. The villa has air-conditioning throughout, satellite TV, VCR, stereo system, telefax, Wi-Fi internet access, table tennis table, piano, outdoor kitchen and a sophisticated alarm system. Most rooms have sea views: by day, the panoramic vista is breathtaking and, by night, the twinkling lights of the coast and the illuminated pool create a wonderfully romantic atmosphere. The mature garden has lawns, flower beds, tall pines, olive trees, cypresses, yucca, a wide variety of Mediterranean plants, and citrus trees in giant terracotta pots, an impressive 15m heated infinity swimming pool with shallow, Roman style side entry [which can fenced] and extensive sunbathing areas with sea views.

The polished and sculpted front door opens into a large hallway with steps down to the main floor: back corridor to a half bathroom, a pre-kitchen room, and a lovely fully equipped modern kitchen with white cabinetry, pale brown granite work surfaces, central island with wooden breakfast table for 3-4, access to the walk in cold storage room and the utility room, and French windows to the outside living areas. Living room with generous seating area around a large coffee table, satellite TV, and several sliding glass doors to the garden: open plan to formal dining room with marble table for 6-8 people. The al fresco dining area is particularly attractive with stunning views over the swimming pool to the sea and the coast: glass topped dining table for 8-10; long bar with barbecue and mini kitchen; generous seating area; small breakfast table for four.
