An unusual split-level design makes this two-story villa seem even more spacious than it is, creating a living area with soaring ceilings and allowing for lots of privacy for the three bedrooms. A terrific pool and patio with both porch and gazebo, great marble baths, a modern kitchen and tasteful decor round out the highlights of this villa, centrally located near a number of Casa de Campo attractions.

Guests will pull into a circular drive, culminating in a porte-cochere in front of striking front doors partly made of stone. From the hardwood foyer, a half-dozen steps lead down to a large, air-conditioned living and dining room with the same marble floors that extend throughout the villa. On the left, there's a formal seating area, done in sage and neutral tones, with a TV in an entertainment armoire. On the right side is a formal wooden dining table; its Spanish style is complemented by 8 chairs with hand-tooled leather seats and backs.

The living and dining areas open onto an expansive porch, with another comfortable seating area and a square, glass-topped dining table seating 8. The entire porch overlooks a gorgeous pool and adjacent whirlpool, the star attraction of the stone-and-brick patio. On two ends, there are curved, built-in benches overlooking the pool. Opposite the porch, there's a gazebo, with another wicker seating area and a glider.

Also on the lower level is the up-to-date kitchen, with an automatic dishwasher, a side-by-side refrigerator, and lots of gleaming counter space, and a convenient half-bath, tucked under the stairs to the second level. One of the guest bedrooms is downstairs as well.

The other two bedrooms, including the master suite, are upstairs from the foyer. Each is individually decorated with distinctive furniture, like the two canopy beds in one of the secondary bedrooms. The master bedroom is particularly inviting, with a love seat, two chairs, and a walk-in closet. All three bedrooms boast spacious bathrooms completely done in native Dominican marble and feature oversized, step-in showers with built in benches; the master bath also features a bidet and a double vanity.
