From time to time this property was a Paladin-roman villa, the farmhouse of the castle of Lourmarin and was bought in 1925 by the grand father of the owner. The renovation has been accomplished with the utmost taste and flair.

12 stone stairs from the entrance hall lead to 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms overlooking the landscaped park and the Luberon mountains. 2 have bathroom (with bath and basin) adjacent.

On the landing, to the right are 2 bedrooms with king size bed and double bed, on the left there is another bedroom with large single bed, a basin and access to the terrace. These 3 bedrooms share a large 1930's style bathroom with bath tub, bidet and w.basin. Independent toilet. At the end of the corridor there are 2 bedrooms: one with double standard bed, a bathroom with shower, another one (the largest one) with king size bed with access to the terrace and with adjacent bathroom with shower. 2d toilet.

Kitchen facilities: oven, 4 burner gas top, electric kettle, coffee maker, toaster, d.washer, micro-wave, set of kitchen utensils, whit and yellow dishes.

Inside facilities: 3 independent toilets, 4 bathrooms, TV, DVD and K7/CD players, antique decorative fire-place, laundry (with ironing set and washing machine) telephone for incoming calls, Internet wifi, screens on all bedroom windows.

Outside facilities: 3 terraces, 2 are shaded with a wonderful view onto a beautiful landscaped park with a variety of tall trees and natural garden, as well as a lovely diamond shaped swimming pool and the village and the castle of Lourmarin. You will enjoy the absolute peaceful and the grandeur of the landscape. There is a fenced in pool (6 meters across,2 meters depth with a diving boardThe caretaker lives in a cottage approximately 50 meters from the house.

It features 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms (3 with shower), a large living room of 840 sq.ft living surface, a desk room, a fully equipped kitchen.Entry is into the scullery which leads on the left part to: the kitchen (with access to the living area), the entrance hall which leads to the living area and the first floor. And on the right part its leads to the toilet, the laundry, the hand w.basin in the hall and the independent part with bedroom with a queen size bed with en-suite (bathroom with shower, and basin) and direct access to the garden.
