Calypso Shores Jamaica

Located in a lovely California-style residential neighborhood named Lagoons, Calypso Shores is one of the newest 4 bedroom homes.

Interiors are newly renovated and furnished with Lexington's Tommy Bahama collection of fine furniture. Deep leather sofas make comfy evenings for movie buffs in front of the 32” plasma television in the living room. More flat screen televisions are in each bedroom armoire. Sony PlayStation and games are provided for youngsters.

The Internet computer desk is also in the living room. Wireless access enables laptop use on the breezy verandah or in individual bedrooms. The modern kitchen has a gas grill, ice maker, cappuccino machine, ice cream maker and SubZero fridge. A top-of-the- line stainless steel Weber Grill is provided for barbequing outside.

An inside dining area adjoins the living room. But most guests opt for the shaded verandah for home-cooked breakfasts, lunches and dinners. This comfy furnished verandah is also the gathering spot for drinks and hors d’oeuvres as the sun sets over the point just beyond Calypso Shores’ beach. If you wish to dine away for the villa one evening, The Houseboat is just five minutes away and offers an excellent menu on a floating restaurant with a wonderful view over the water.

Calypso Shores’ water sports equipment is complimentary ~ and there’s loads of it! Swim and snorkel out to the reef. Grab a rum punch and take the hobie cat around the point for glorious sunsets. Kayak to your heart’s content. Wear yourself out on the boogie boards and windsurfer. And refresh in Calypso Shores’ own private pool. The beach is soft, the swimming water is wonderful.

  • Most Jamaican rental villas come with a full staff, consisting of cook, maid, and laundress. A private cook will prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner -- meals that you choose based on your own personal tastes.
  • A prepaid refundable security/damage deposit is required by most Jamaican Villas usually $500 - $1000 per stay. Please inquire with your Villa Specialist for exact amounts at time of booking.

Special • Complimentary Airport Transfer for all Jamaica Villas!

We are pleased to offer a complimentary round-trip airport transfer in a private van or a $200 credit towards a full-time van and driver on reservations for any of our Jamaica villas. We will cover the cost for one round-trip airport transfer in a private van for up to 7 guests. If you prefer to have a full-time van and driver during your stay (which we recommend), we are please to offer a $200 credit on your reservation of a 12, 16 or 25 seater van.

Please mention JAT0112 at time of booking. Valid on new reservations made between 02/08/12 and 03/15/12. 7 night minimum booking in high season and 5 night minimum booking in low season. Selection and prepayment of either complimentary transfer or discount on full-time driver must be made at time of booking. Upgrades and additional vans are available at an additional cost. Clients are responsible for car seat rentals and extra costs for luggage transportation if required. Gratuities on airport transfers should be paid by clients directly to the driver. Clients are responsible for a pre-paid 15% gratuity added to full-time van & driver service. For airport transfers of parties of 8 or more, clients are responsible for rental of a second van to transport luggage. This also applies to full-time van and driver reservations.     The staff at the villa was excellent. The location of the villa, being on a lagoon, but with a connecting waterway to the ocean was a great location. The availability of water activities, such as kayaking and catamaran was a big plus. All of the guest rooms were very nice, much better than the photos, and in general the villa was extremely comfortable. Also appreciated that there were some modern features available, such as WiFi Internet access and Satellite television. The dining was also a very pleasant experience, as the meals were tasty and enjoyed by all.
