Villa Barbara is an exquisite, 12-acre family estate in the hills high above the coast, with wide open views of the sea and the lights of the port at night.

Villa Barbara offers total privacy and seclusion, yet is just a few minutes walk to the center of town with its shops and restaurants. Each room is different in color, type, view and furnishings. The light outdoor furnishings with white cushions give a very cool feeling during those hot summer days.

Accommodations:

Living Areas: Sitting rooms with fireplace and high ceilings with traditional wood beams. Oversized living room opens onto the stunning terrace through French doors. Beautifully furnished with antiques and modern pieces, Villa Barbara’s rooms also feature high beamed ceilings and hardwood floors. Formal dining room with vaulted ceiling and large window with breathtaking views of the harbor.

Ground Floor: 1 queen bedroom and 1 twin bedroom each with en suite bathroom. 2 twin/queen bedrooms each with en suite bathroom (1 with tub and 1 with shower).

First Floor: 1 master king bedroom with en suite bathroom.

Outdoor Area: Four different outdoor dining areas including a pretty vine-covered gazebo on a plateau. This has breathtaking views of the sea and a bar carved out of the rocks by the saltwater swimming pool, surrounded by trees and with an amazing view of the coast.

Liguria Villa Notes

  • Due to limited transportation in outlying and rural areas, a rental car is essential for stays at countryside villas in Italy. We are more than happy to arrange a car for you during your stay, please just let us know at time of booking.
  • Please note that Italy villas rent from Saturday to Saturday. Exceptions may be possible on a case by case basis and upon request.
  • The Italian government has implemented a Visitor’s Tax of €1.50 per person per day and applies to all overnight stays for the first seven days in the destination. This tax is payable to the local property manager.
