Private tent cabanas are available to rent for $500 per day at the Grand Wailea Resort pool area. Rental of a cabana provides access to the Grand Wailea pools & waterslides (height requirement applies) for up to four persons per day per cabana. Reservations are accepted only within 24 hours on a space available basis. You may also rent sports gear and beach chaise lounges/umbrellas in front of the Grand Wailea on Wailea Beach, although we also provide portable beach chairs, towels, umbrellas and coolers in your villa or home.

Makena Resort, only a few minutes drive away provides the additional exceptional Makena North Golf Course and half a dozen other sandy beaches nestled between secluded scalloped coves of ancient lava rock. Bella Luna D302, Golden Mandarin D102, Floral Gardens G102, and Ocean Pearl E202 are all reasonably convenient to A201 The Royal Ilima, and can be rented in combination with each other. The Royal Ilima provides an intimate living experience within the eden of Wailea Resort, with a symphony of glowing tiki torches, the golden sands of Wailea Beach, big blue skies, glorious sunsets, and the azure blue Pacific Ocean. The finest suites at nearby 5-star hotels must be envious of this top floor prime south and west facing corner location, which also is blessed with the most picturesque panoramic ocean views available in all of Wailea Resort. To access the residents-only free-form adult pool, hot tub spa, and Wailea Beach simply ride down your own exclusive private elevator and step forward just a few paces.

Housekeeping

Light daily hotel-style housekeeping service is provided complimentary for full rate reservations, which includes re-making the beds, disposing of rubbish, replacing supplies, changing towels, and a quick general tidy-up. Our villas are extremely well stocked with an abundant supply of towels, blankets and extra bed linens. Additional service may be requested in advance at an additional cost. Personal laundry service is not provided during the daily service, however our housekeepers are available to shuttle your personal dry cleaning and laundry to a near-by professional clothing dry cleaning and laundry service. Within the villa there is a laundry room with a washer/dryer, laundry supplies, iron and board. During the Christmas and New Years holiday period, DAILY housekeeping is provided, with the exception that there is no housekeeping service on Christmas Day December 25 and on New Years Day January 1. Additional housekeeping typically costs $35 per person per hour plus GE tax, with a 3 hour minimum. Advance notice is requested. Subject to availability.

Barbeque

The Royal Ilima has its own deluxe stainless Viking propane grill with rotisserie, set outdoors on the spacious private beach front terrace. A beverage refrigerator is conveniently located next to the grill.

Attentive security personnel patrol the grounds of the Wailea Beach Villas for guest security.

Parking

Provided at no charge one outdoor tarmac parking space for a larger vehicle.

Indoor Dining

A grand 10 foot solid wooden dining table defines the Great Room. This seats six to ten guests for candlelit indoor dining. Hand blown ceiling mounted glass chandeliers on a dimmer switch helps to create a pleasant dining ambiance. A separate counter in the kitchen seats 3 persons on comfortable leather bar stools.

Outdoor Dining

A round table for four to six guests is set on the lovely beach front outdoor private dining terrace. Two side chairs with a side table provide additional dining space.

Gym

Residents-Only Air Conditioned Gym and Fitness Center situated conveniently within Wailea Beach Villas will provide a good selection of work-out equipment. Use is complimentary for guests. The gym features Hoist brand bicep and tricep pull, leg-press, multi-press, lat pull-down, leg extension, hamstring curl. Free weights, resist-a-ball, mats. Two recumbent bikes, 2 treadmills and 2 eliptical trainers, all Precor brand with televisions. Showers and Lockers at Pool.

Internet Access

Complimentary high speed wireless internet service is provided as well as several ethernet jacks for hard wire internet high speed connections for guests without wireless receivers in their computers.

Office

A desk is provided in the living area which can be closed off so you can put work out of your mind! However, if needed, there is a complete array of office supplies provided as well as an answering machine, fax on a separate phone line, and a scanner/printer/copier. To send or receive a fax use the personal fax machine provided in your own villa. Separately, there is a formal Business Center located in the main lobby, that is equipped with two Dell computers and a printer. It is open from 7:15 am - 10:00 pm daily.

Home Theater

The Great Room is equipped with a large Sony flat panel wide screen HD digital Television which cantilevers out from the wall. It may be adjusted for various viewing positions from the outdoor terrace or the kitchen. Also provided in the Great Room is an HD DVR and HD digital cable box with premium movie and music channels, Logitech Harmony, CD, HD DVD, iPod dock, Surround Sound and Central Stereo that is adjusted in all rooms of the villa using individual wall-mounted room by room volume controls.
