Sandy Surf K508 was not offered for guest rental in the past. It debuted in 2010 with new furnishings, art work, linens, electronics, kitchen goods, and decor. We created Sandy Surf to rival the elegant but subdued ambiance of the Club Floor Lounge of the nearby Four Seasons Wailea.

Borrowing from the name "Sandy Surf" the decor is rich with warm seaside tones of blue, gold, sand, light and dark brown, creme, silver and copper. The travertine floors are enhanced by rare imported silk carpets. An abundance of custom throw pillows and floor pillows make the 3 separate sofas a comfortable place to relax and gather as a group of friends or family. The furnishings are an exceptional and eclectic blend of tropical touches with contemporary and traditional pieces artfully blended to create an exceptional environment for discerning travelers. Sandy Surf K508 is privately managed to the highest possible standards. It is without any doubt one of the best of the best at Wailea Beach Villas.

The great room is an oversized communal gathering space with a 60 inch HD television, digital cable, ipod dock with surround sound speaker system, and HD DVR. There are two seating areas. One faces the television alcove that is shaded with Italian faux pearl paint. The other cocktail and conversation area faces the enormous ocean view. For dining, enjoy the round indoor table that seats 6-8, 2 additional bar stools at the granite counter that overlooks the kitchen, or at the solid butterscotch color teak table in the kitchen. The alfresco veranda has a stainless Viking gas grill, a double reclining padded chaise lounge, and a six to eight person outdoor dining table.

The kitchen is one of our favorite rooms to talk about. There is a Bosch Tassimo T-disc espresso and coffee maker, a 2nd traditional drip coffee maker, wine fridge, 2 beverage drawers, double freezer doors, an oversized Sub-Zero fridge, built-in microwave, convection range, Bosch dishwasher, and a ceramic glass Ceran cooktop. For those who enjoy cooking fresh food, the kitchen offers every type of small appliance along with a quality array of glassware, plate-ware, and service ware. You are invited to make use of the waffle-maker, juicer, blender, toaster oven, mixer, rice cooker, spices/herbs and other conveniences stocked in K508.

This stunningly decorated spacious residence has three well appointed bedrooms each with full baths as well as a fourth den/bedroom situated off the great room. Within the den/bedroom is a silky fabric queen-size gold color sofa (made up with a proper queen mattress when needed), a side chair, a dresser, a desk, and an assortment of convenient office supplies. Rental of a cabana provides access to the Grand Wailea pools & waterslides (height requirement applies) for up to four persons per day per cabana. Reservations are accepted only within 24 hours on a space available basis. You may also rent sports gear and beach chaise lounges/umbrellas in front of the Grand Wailea on Wailea Beach, although we also provide portable beach chairs, towels, umbrellas and coolers in your villa or home.

Makena Resort, only a few minutes drive away provides the additional exceptional Makena North Golf Course and half a dozen other sandy beaches nestled between secluded scalloped coves of ancient lava rock. Minutes to the north is charming Kihei Town a surprisingly enjoyable resource for grocery shopping, boutique restaurant dining, night-life, a movie theater, and young hipster bars.

Sandy Surf Villa, also known as K508, is on the fifth floor with full panoramic ocean, beach and Haleakala views located in the "Tower Building" building above the family pool, spa, fitness center, business center and lobby. This nearly perfect central location is most convenient to access The Shops at Wailea and the Grand Wailea Resort. There is no need to rent a car! Walk to everything, including fine dining, shopping, spas, salons, and all types of recreation and pampering.

Housekeeping

Complimentary mid-week cleaning is provided for every 7 nights reserved at the full published rate. Our villas are extremely well stocked with an abundant supply of towels, blankets and extra bed linens. There is plenty of inventory to suffice for several days. For every 7 nights rented at the advertised published rate we will provide a thorough mid-stay cleaning service on day 3 or 4. Personal laundry service is excluded, however our housekeepers are available to shuttle your personal dry cleaning and laundry to a near-by service. Within the villa there is a laundry room with a washer/dryer, laundry supplies, iron and board. There is a pick up and drop off available within the resort for a professional dry cleaning and laundry service. Over Christmas and New Years housekeeping is provided daily. Housekeeping typically costs $35 per person per hour plus GE tax, with a 3 hour minimum. Advance notice is requested. Subject to availability.

Barbeque

Sandy Surf Villa has its own deluxe stainless Viking propane grill with rotisserie, set outside on the spacious private ocean view terrace.

Security System

Attentive security personnel patrol the grounds of the Wailea Beach Villas for guest security.

Parking

A parking space in the garage is provided at no charge. Extra unmarked and complimentary parking stalls are available outside of the garage.

Indoor Dining

There is a circular indoor dining table which seats six to eight guests and two bar stools at the kitchen counter. There is seating for two more guests at a solid teak kitchen table.

Outdoor Dining

There is comfortable dining space on the lovely ocean view outdoor private terrace for as many as six to eight guests as well as a padded double reclining chaise lounge chair.

Gym

Residents-Only Air Conditioned Gym and Fitness Center situated conveniently within Wailea Beach Villas will provide a good selection of work-out equipment. Use is complimentary for guests. The gym features Hoist brand bicep and tricep pull, leg-press, multi-press, lat pull-down, leg extension, hamstring curl. Free weights, resist-a-ball, mats. Two recumbent bikes, 2 treadmills and 2 eliptical trainers, all Precor brand with televisions. Showers and Lockers at Pool.

Internet Access

Complimentary high speed wireless internet service is provided as well as several ethernet jacks for hard wire internet high speed connections for guests without wireless receivers in their computers. An ethernet cable is provided for hard-wire connections.

Office

For your convenience there is a complete array of office supplies stocked as well as an answering machine, and fax/scanner/printer/copier. To send or receive a fax use the personal fax machine provided in your own villa. Separately, there is a formal Business Center located in the main lobby, that is equipped with two Dell computers and a printer. It is open daily.

The Great Room is equipped with a large 60" flat panel television with HD channel subscription. Also provided in the Great Room is an HD DVR digital cable box, Blu-Ray CD/DVD player and iPod dock that connects to the central speaker system.
