Located at the top of the hill, three miles from Vaison la Romaine and thirty miles from Avignon, Domaine des Vignes enjoys absolute peace and dramatic views.

Located at the top of the hill, three miles from Vaison la Romaine and thirty miles from Avignon, Domaine des Vignes enjoys absolute peace and dramatic views. It has been completely restored and includes all modern amenities. The house is decorated with valuable contemporary art, as well as many art books. The surrounding sixty-acre estate includes thirty acres of vineyards. There is a beautiful garden, a lawn, an olive grove, and profuse lavender. A poolside pavilion includes a summer kitchen with grill, barbecue, dish washer and refrigerator/freezer another pavilion with toilets, bathroom with shower and a futton sofa. There are 4 sun beds, 4 transats all in wood with a mattress and 1 large parasol. Petanque field with bowls provided. A gipsy caravan at the back with 2 x 2 bunk beds with tables and garden furniture.

Ground floor:

A service entrance with cloackroom and toilets. The main entrance leads to a large fully equipped Provençal kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave, oven, 4 induction burners, blender, toaster, kettle, Nespresso machine, magimix, and American refrigerator. There is a patio off the kitchen. There is also a dining room, a summer living room, a winter living room with fireplace, and a family room equipped with satelitte TV, DVD, telephone, Internet Wifi, many art books, a sofa bed and a HiFI music player. At the back of this floor there is also a small room with a foot ball table and another larger room with a pool table. The large laundry room is equipped with a washing machine, dryer, ironing machine. A small bathroom with shower, basin and toilet.

Bedroom Details

  • First floor off the entrance 3 Bedrooms and also note on the left side there is a private closed apartment.
  • Bedroom #1 - On the right South facing there is a queen bedroom or 2 twin beds, bathroom (shower, bidet, basin) across the corridor. Separate WC.
  • Bedroom #2 - Another queen bedroom with en suite bathroom (tub, basin and WC), South and West views.
  • Bedroom #3 - King bedroom ( 2 x 90) with en suite complete bathroom (tub, shower, bidet, WC.) Small balcony on west side.
  • First floor off the billiard room / 2 Bedrooms: Bedroom #4- Twin-bedded room North faced with ensuite bathroom(shower, tub, wc).
  • Bedroom #5 - Is a mezzanine with mattress and another twin-bedded room south faced with small shower, and a WC around the corner.
  • All of the twin-bedded rooms can be made into big beds. It is important to specify the desired make-up of the room prior to arrival

Pool Details

  • A pool (15m x 6m) depth 1m to 3m with stair access, alarm, whirlpool, children's shallow play area, terrace, and solarium complete the outdoor amenities.

Staff Details

  • Two hours of daily maid service are included six days a week
  • Linens changed on Saturday
