This beautiful Provence villa rental offers the best of both worlds - a peaceful country setting with village life within a short walk along a path from the villa. The entrance to the spectacular property is through a beautiful gate and down the flower lined driveway toward the courtyard and villa. The interior court yard is lined with trees and vines to provide shade for outdoor dining or relaxing. The house features a splendid view of the monastery and surrounding hills. The interior is spacious and elegantly decorated. The living room features comfortable sofas, fine art, antiques and a bright, welcoming newly renovated open kitchen. The exterior is well-landscaped and features a beautiful pool, terraces and courtyard for outdoor dining. The garden has lawns, cherry trees, flowerbeds and a view over the neighboring monastery, vineyards & hills. This property has 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. The interior is stylish, spacious and elegantly appointed. The main living-dining room features a fireplace, a seating area and the dining area with a large French country dining table with seating for 10.
The second living room has 2 very comfortable large sofas, a coffee table and reading lamps grouped around the fireplace. There is a TV & game room for your entertainment. All rooms are beautifully decorated and furnished in Provencal style. The doors from the living room lead out to the lovely back garden with cherry trees, a petanque pitch and views of the surrounding countryside.
The recently renovated & fully equipped kitchen is a wonderful bright and inviting room to cook in, with its chef amenities and professional oven. The kitchen has a small breakfast table and doors leading to the courtyard. For convenience there are two big windows opening to the courtyard for pass-thru serving. Whether inside or outside, families and friends can enjoy dining together and a wonderful place to call home during your vacation. Off the living-dining room is a guest bathroom with sink & WC and a utility room that has a washer & a dryer.
Upstairs in the main house, there are two double rooms each with a queen size bed and private bathrooms (one with a tub/shower, and the other with a walk-in shower). The bedrooms have windows overlooking the nearby monastery or the garden. Also on the same floor is a master bedroom suite with ensuite shower room and lounge area with fireplace. There is also a queen size bed. This beautifully decorated and furnished bedroom overlooks the pool & gardens.
There is an additional guest suite with kitchenette, queen size bed, and ensuite bathroom with shower, located in the annex, which is accessed from the courtyard. A young persons’ cottage is located near the pool with bunk beds and a shower room. All bedrooms have screens for the windows.
The pool and courtyard are equipped with good quality teak & wicker garden & outdoor dining furniture. From the back garden, there is a terrain de Petanque and a lovely lawn for children to play on. At the bottom of the garden is a small gate that leads through the vineyards along a small trail to the heart of the village (300m). The grounds include large well tended lawns, gardens, olive trees & lavender. There is a superb view of the monastery which faces the house across the valley of vineyards. Further beyond are views are of the hills Les Dentelles de Montmirail and Le Ventoux - the highest peak in Provence.

- St. Didier is an authentic Provencal town however it is not a tourist town as the location of this villa is ideal for exploring all of Provence.

Pool Details
- The 4m x 9m pool has a brand new liner and a new entrance that has a large platform area that small children can play on (about 1 long and 25cm deep) For security and heat retention, the pool has an electric hard cover that has a locking device when closed, and a lockable gate keeps children out of the pool area when not in use.
