La Belle Epoque - P221 Provence

This amazing art deco house comfortably accommodates 12 to 14 guests.

La Belle Epoque is located at the bottom of the Provencal Alpilles and less than 2 kilometers from the charming village of Eygalières. Avignon and the TGV train station are just 25 minutes away with access to Mareille International Airport and the Mediterranean beaches are less than one hour away!

Main house

350m2 in 5 acre-garden + Pool

When you enter the house by the main entrance oriented south, you arrive idown a hall that gives you the first atmosphere of the house with stoned walls and curiosity.

If you go on the right side you enter the kitchen which is semi Professional. There is a fridge and a freezer, a microwave, a dishwasher, a 4 burner gas cooking stove and a table for 6 people that can be used to cook or to have breakfast. Everything is functional with cupboards.

After you will enter the dining room which is oriented north, you enter a small east terrace with a table and 4 chairs. This room is also decorated with an African traditional costume and some rare drawings. The glass dining table is for 6 people and this room is quite large.

Then you go to the living room which is as wide as the house with a large door that lets light in during the daytime. You can enjoy two different corners. Large contemporary paintings gives a nice atmosphere to this room and some other objects nice to discover.

Stairs near the entrance leads upstairs.

First floor

  • One room on the right is blue, decorated with old wooden art deco furniture. There is a window to enjoy the view on the garden and portrait paintings on the walls.
  • The second bedroom can be named The Aunty bedroom because of a large portrait on the top of the bed.
  • The private bathroom is yellow with mosaics, a shower, one hand basin and toilets.
  • The third room is The Spanish with a pink atmosphere and Corrida poster on the wall. One with A bed x 120 and small camp bed x 70.
  • In the corridor, there is a shared bathroom with blue and with mosaics, a shower, one hand basin and toilets.
  • The master bedroom is very large and comfortable, with a art deco wooden desk, a Library and a large window facing the garden.
  • The private bathroom is also art deco with a bathtub, 2 hand basins, a bidet and toilets. The window makes it very bright.

Second floor

  • There is a large dormitory under the roof with large bed and three singles plus a mattress used as a sofa. There is a TV and 3 fans. This room can be perfect for children.
  • There is a Laundry with outside access on the side of the house with washing machine, vegetables fridge and a freezer.

SMALL HOUSE 'MAZET'

  • By the pool there is an independent Mazet on the first floor a single room with 2 electric stoves, a fridge, coffee machine, a kettle, a fireplace and separated toilets.
  • Stairs lead to the room with a X 160 bed or 2 x 80.
  • There is table and a chair in front of the window.
  • The bathroom is nearly open on the room with one hand basin and a shower.

OUTSIDE

Outside is delightful because of the different places scattered on the 1-hectare garden. Lots of vegetation make the garden really natural. From the gate to the house there a large parking area for 8 cars and wild trees that line the side of the driveway. Then there is small bridge across a little river with bamboos. In front of the house there are table and 4 chairs one a pavement terrace and a really big plane tree with a swing. You can enjoy diner or lunch in the shade with a large table. Hidden from the house there is a swimming pool area and a terrace with a pergola to stay in the shade, it’s possible to put a table or an outside sofa. At the end of the garden there is a kitchen garden and a wooden house for the children. Another kitchen garden is on the left side of the house where the caretaker lives. He will take care of the garden and the pool.
