La Martelière - P118 Provence
Typical Provencal Mas for 12 people, close to the village of Eygalières and near St Rémy de Provence.
La Martelière features a lovely main entrance with an old stoned basin. The entrance leads to the kitchen, the living room, a corridor to two rooms, and the stairs to the first floor.
East side of the villa
- The kitchen, simple but practical with all the necessary to cook. There is a table and chairs for breakfast, fridge and freezer. Microwaves, dishwasher and all the crockery. There is also a door oriented south to go outside.
- One bedroom named La Chamber Blanche because of the whiteness. A 140 bed with a canopy. A door to access a nice terrace with a small table and chairs. The private bathroom is with a bathtub, one hand basin and toilets. A/C
- The second bedroom named La Provençale because of a nice drawing on the wall. It’s a suite with on x180 bed or possibility to make two x 90. A/C
- Private bathroom with bathtub, one hand basin and toilets are separated.
- The third bedroom is named La Marocaine because of a north African atmosphere. Antique furniture and Arabian writing on the wall. A bed x 160 and an old cupboard. A/C. The bathroom is made with mozaique. There is a shower, toilets and hand basin.
- The fourth bedroom is also a suite oriented south with 2 large windows. There is a big cupboard and the bed is 160. A/C Independent bathroom with bathtub, one hand basin and toilets.
West side of the villa:
There is the living room and dinning room; they are in the same large room of 80m2. There is a stone fireplace (that cannot be used) 3 comfortables sofas, a flat screen TV with satellite and a chandelier. For the Inside dinner there is a long table. This room is really comfortable with a great light and a door to go in the terrace.
A separated toilet is nearby. There is a Laundry with a washing machine, and an iron table. There is a string outside to dry the clothes, hidden behind a wooden wall.
At the north side, behind the living room there is a room without A/C named La chamber bleue. the bed is X 140 and there is a door to access the north part of the garden. Private bathroom tainted in blue with a shower, one hand basin and toilets.
First floor
The stairs lead to an nice upstairs lounge under the wooden roof, with sofa and TV on one side and a small desk on the other side where it s easy to connect a computer.
A corridor goes to 2 bedrooms that share a bathroom and separated toilets.
- First room is named L’Asiatique because of the decoration. The bed is x 160 and there is nice Asian cupboard. A/C and fan
- The shared bathroom is with 2-hand basins, one bathtub and a Showerhead which hangs on
- The last room is La Boréale because of the pure atmosphere. There is a small balcony to see the garden and the pool, a big cupboard and a bed x 160 and a TV. A/C and fan
Outside
1000m2 terrace and garden area
A terrace made out of freestones in front the house with a shaded area and the table to enjoy summer diners. Another diner area under a tree can be agreeable
The swimming pool (7x16m) is a little bit higher surrounded by a terrace and protected by an alarm, stair access. There is Jacuzzi and 6 sunbath chairs and 4 relax
There is the outside kitchen with table and chairs, a fridge, a gas barbecue and a gas heater.
On the right side there is Small bathroom with shower, hand basin and toilets.
There is a Pétanque place in the shade.
In the middle of the olives trees field there is a small pond with ducks and a bench shaded by roses. From here you can enjoy a great view on the Alpilles.
Nearby the swimming pool there is a nice place with a fountain, table and chairs to relax and a traditional barbecue.
