This beautifully restored dry stone village house nestles up with the cliff of Gordes and faces directly out towards the Luberon valley with a landscape of every shade of green.

This property was renovated and completely redesigned by a couple of renown art dealers, who respected the traditional construction using the local limestone for the flagstone floors and the carved twisting staircase and the supporting arches, the renovation alone is a work of art.

The house boasts two very large and comfortable terraces that guarantee the privilege of the view!

This very original home has been restored and furnished with immense care to detail, for art lovers this is a must property. The walk into the village known as Frances most beautiful is a two minute stroll through history and cobbled streets, with a potential artists painting where ever you look. An extraordinary feature is the garden with it’s pool, once you are settled in the shade of the olive tree, cooking in the cuisine d’ete or soaking up the sun by the pool.... You won’t wish to leave...this really is such an enchanting place.

This home has one kitchen in the top floor apartment, one kitchen (very profeessional in the main house level) and another kitchen by the pool. All are 100% equipped. The house has 5 double bedrooms with king size bed and 5 bathrooms that have air conditioning. There is a heated pool with 2 superb terraces with the view you can see in the pictures.

The house has 3 levels, plus the penthouse.

On the first floor (entrance level) is the wide open lounge, the dining area, kitchen, bathroom and the dining terrace. This is a stainless steel kitchen, with a professional oven, electric oven and gas rings. It is equipped with a large double fridge, ice maker. A microwave, blender, mixer; excellent sets of knives and pans, a real chefs delight. Also from here is the access to the garden and pool. From this level up the stone steps is the lounge-dining and kitchen area of the apartment and the larger dining terrace.

From here there is a main door that gives access to the street. Up more stone steps is the beautiful white bed (at the very top of the house) with a large shower room and wc.

The level down from the main house living area is the master bedroom (Moroccan style) with it’s en suite bathroom, then a few steps down is the 2nd double bedroom with en suite, going down a few more steps is the ‘teenagers’ bedroom with en suite bathroom, then a few more steps down and here is on the right the wine cellar and opposite the last double bedroom with en suite bathroom, this room also has a door that goes straight out to garden.

  • The bathrooms have 3 tubs with showers and 2 shower only....there are 3 bathrooms, that have a tub with a hand held shower.
  • 1 bathroom has a separate stand shower and a tub. The 'penthouse suite' top floor has only the stand up shower.They all have shower attachments and there is one garden shower. 7 toilets, one in each bathroom, one on the main entrance-living area and one out in the garden.

Staff Details

  • Personal concierge service at the clients' disposal during their stay
  • Linens are changed once per week and towels twice
  • Cleaning 2 people x 3 hours per day x 6 days per week included
