Les Baux Provence

This beautiful property sits in a stunning and dramatic location, nestled into the rocks at Les Baux-de-Provence.

There are magnificent views from the terraces at the front of the house over the surrounding countryside of olive groves and vineyards which stretch out below the property Not to be missed are the incredible sunsets. The Les Baux-de-Provence 9 hole Golf Course is just 1 kilometre away.

Built into the side of the cliff-face, the actual rocks have been incorporated into the design of the house to create an unique accommodation of an exceptionally high standard. Exposed rock forms part of the walls in most of the rooms, offset by cream stone floor tiles and exposed beamed ceilings, also painted cream.

On a lower level, there is another beautiful terrace with swimming pool, with an overflow effect and a sun deck with pot plants, sunloungers and umbrellas. There is also a summer kitchen with a fridge and stereo system, and a dining area. In the rocks behind the terrace, a small waterfall has been created. The resident guardian lives in separate accommodation to one side of the house.

Ground Floor:

Entrance via a sun terrace with outdoor dining area to a large living/dining room with fireplace and stereo system. The dining area is also open-plan to the kitchen, equipped with French cooker and dishwasher. Bedroom with 180cm bed set in a stone surround, a fireplace and doors to terrace. Spectacular bathroom with a raised "day-bed" for relaxing, and a large bath set in the middle of the room, surrounded by pot plants, statues and exposed rock formations.

First Floor:

Study which has internet access, with exposed rock wall, and door to outside.

Lower Ground Floor:

Double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with bath, basin and WC, and washing machine housed in a cupboard. Double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower, basin and WC. Both bedrooms open to a terrace.

  • Bedroom 1: 1 Double/Located on ground floor, fireplace, opens to terrace, bathroom with a raised "day-bed", large bath set in the middle of the room.
  • Bedroom 2: 1 Double/Located on lower ground floor, bathroom with bath, basin and WC, washing machine housed in a cupboard.
  • Bedroom 3: 1 Double/Located on lower ground floor, en-suite bathroom with bath, basin and WC.
