Mas De Eveques Provence

This beautiful stone mas has been restored by an English interior designer, art and antiques consultant, who has sympathetically introduced the essential requirements of modern living, while remaining true to the original curving stone staircases, soft terracotta tiles and limestone floors of Provence.

This wonderful home has been decorated and furnished with loving care with antiques, in a unique mix of traditional and modern, and in every room hangs an original piece of artwork. For art and antique lovers this an inspirational base from which to explore the the important center of antiques at l`Isle sur la Sorgue and the surrounding villages.

The property is located in the heart of the historic Luberon village of Cabrieres d`Avignon, with a 15th century chateau, pretty church, and just 3 minutes walk away, an excellent restaurant, local shops and the Post Office.

The house is spacious and airy with an unusually large garden and pool for a property located in a village. Each ground floor room opens out onto the terrace and garden, which is not overlooked and utterly private. The well-maintained landscaped gardens are laid out, with a large area of lawn, a rose arbour and many shady retreats in which to relax. One of the many features, include the original, and still, working well. At night the gardens can be lit. The 13 x 5m swimming pool is heated and covered.

Beside the pool and, part of the Guest House, there is an attractively furnished Pool House with fridge/freezer. The main terrace, immediately outside the house, is stone flagged and shaded by a long rose pergola, it features a lovely long iron table, which can seat up to 10 people and a circular table, which is shaded by trees, which can seat up to 8.

Fully equipped kitchen with; double size electric oven and 5 gas burners, water softner, fridge/freezer with ice dispenser, dishwasher, original butchers block, microwave, blender, mixer and juicer. Large double bedroom with views over the garden, Super King size bed and en-suite bathroom with shower and separate WC.

First floor:

Accessed by the main staircase is the first Master bedroom suite, with views of the garden and Luberon valley, Super King size bed and en-suite bathroom, WC with separate shower. Accessed by the second staircase there is the second Master bedroom suite, with views of the garden and Luberon valley, Super King size bed and en-suite bathroom, WC with separate shower.

Second floor:

Double bedroom with even better views of the garden and Luberon valley, Super King size bed and en-suite shower room and WC.

Guest House:

Across the courtyard, next to the Pool House, there is the 5th double bedroom with King size bed with en-suite shower room and WC.
