Mas du Saule Provence

Located in a private and quiet domaine on the outskirts of the vibrant market town of St. Remy-de-Provence, capital of Les Alpilles, Mas du Saule is a stylish and imposing mas, set in 8,000 sq metres of attractive landscaped parkland.

The property, situated well back from the quiet local road is entered through attractive electronic secure gates. To the right of the winding drive there is a large "L" shaped 14 x 7m alarmed pool with pool house, which has summer cooking facilities, BBQ, separate WC and shower room. The garden, featuring an attractive lawn and a number of very beautiful mature local trees, is fenced on all sides.

On the front and side of the south facing property there are large terraces for outside dining, one part covered in summer by creepers, whilst the other is roofed. To the rear of the house, there is a boules court and masses of space for parking, including covered parking facilities.

The house, built in local stone, has only recently been completely renovated and refurnished in a contemporary eye-catching Provencal style. It has a very comfortable high-quality feel, with the use of a mixture of muted background colours and some striking 'objets d'art'. The house has internet access.

Accommodation

Through the front door there is an attractive hall, featuring the main staircase and downstairs WC. Left of the hall opens into a large and very comfortable dining and sitting room with a working fireplace and a large beautifully built dresser, French windows open onto the front terrace. Through the lounge there is a double bedroom with 140cm bed.

On the right of the hall there is a fully equipped modern kitchen with central breakfast area, oven range, double fridge freezer and espresso machine. There is an additional smaller back kitchen, equipped with, microwave, and wine cooler. Laundry facilities are located in the garage.

To the left of the kitchen and with an outside entrance, features a separate studio with 140cm bed, flat screen TV, en-suite bathroom, shower and WC.

Using the main staircase to the first floor and off the landing there are two double bedrooms both with 160cm beds that share a bathroom with shower and WC. Accessed by this landing or by the secondary staircase there is the Master bedroom with 180cm bed and en-suite bathroom with bath, shower and WC.

At the back of the open plan dining area, there is a secondary staircase which allows access to a large comfortable salon, study and TV room with large cinema style flat screen TV, music and DVD facility. Further up these stairs, is a very pretty children's dormitory which has 2 single beds, a separate 'playroom' and en-suite bathroom with shower and WC. All the rooms are equipped with air-conditioning.
