Mas St. Pierre Provence

This absolutely delightful restored mas is situated in the countryside between Avignon and Tarascon.

Dating from the 18th century, the traditional features of the house have been retained and its uneven floors, stone staircases, large fireplaces, beamed ceilings and uneven whitewashed walls all add to its authenticity and charm. The exterior too is very pretty with its stone façade, covered in climbing roses and vines, and beautiful old shutters.

It is set in 4 acres of landscaped gardens with trees, flowers and vines, and fields of lavender and olive trees. The new 14 x 7m swimming pool is accessed by steps and alarmed for the safety of young children. The pool house comprises a fully equipped summer kitchen (sink, cooker and fridge), and built-in barbecue and a summer dining area. There is also a shower room and WC. Near the pool is a covered terrace, furnished for dining or relaxing outdoors. The property is particularly child friendly with its large garden, with children's swings.

The rooms are decorated and furnished in shades of natural colours and white, creating a relaxing and harmonious ambience. The interior design has been planned meticulously with linen and muslin fabrics, sisal carpeting in most bedrooms, and lots of little Provençal touches to make it very special. The Master bedroom is particularly pretty with its wooden floor, white painted ceiling beams and antique country furniture. Amenities include a home cinema, TV, DVD, stereo CD player, internet access and an alarm system. There is central heating for out of season rentals.

Ground Floor:

Entrance hall with stairs leading to first floor. Country-style kitchen with a large fireplace and very well equipped with gas cooker, hob, microwave, filter coffee and espresso machines, toaster and dishwasher. Adjacent laundry with washing machine and dryer. Living/dining room with a fireplace at each end, and doors to front terrace. A/C double/twin bedroom with door to rear garden. A/C double bedroom with 160cm bed, opening to garden. Bathroom with bath and basin. Separate WC.

First Floor:

A/C twin/double bedroom. Shower room with basin and WC. Twin bedroom, which is suitable for children, which connects to the A/C Master bedroom with 160cm bed, which has an en-suite bathroom with separate bath and 2 basins. Separate shower and WC. The Master bedroom can be accessed from this bedroom, or via a spiral staircase down to the living room.
