An exceptional village house located in the heart of the famous village of Eygalières.
Located above the delightful village of Eygalières, this original sixteenth century silk worm farm has been beautifully restored and transformed into a superb family home.
The grounds encompass a large garden (925 sq. m.) and courtyard. The swimming pool (13m x 5m; depth 2.2m) has been fashioned out of the rocky landscape and includes a fountain and is protected with a gate. The garden is equipped with garden furniture and a barbecue. There is a wonderful outdoor eating area with a large turbo gas BBQ, a large stone table to seat 22 with black wrought iron chairs. This is all situated under the shade of 2 enormous common hackberry trees.
The interior has three floors. The ground floor has four living rooms with arched ceilings, a billiard room, and a Moroccan-style library located in what was once the chapel. The library includes a fireplace, TV, VCR, telephone, and fax machine. The gourmet kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine.
Second and third floors: There are eight bedrooms divided between the second and third floors.
2nd floor :
- a double bedroom with king size bed and ensuite complete bathroom
- a double bedroom with queen size bed and ensuite bathroom
- a double bedroom with queen size bed and ensuite bathroom
- 2 other double bedrooms with 140cm bed sharing a complete bathroom
3rd floor :
- a double bedroom with queen size bed and ensuite bathroom
- a double bedroom with queen size bed and ensuite bathroom
There is an office/ bedroom with a queen size bed and bathroom in the corridor. The room has Internet service but no WiFi as the walls are too thick.

- It is within walking distance of local amenities and within 20 miles of Avignon
- St. Remy de Provence (6 miles) is also nearby

- Three bathrooms have tubs, two have tubs and showers, and two have showers only.
