Villa des Anges - P969 Provence

Brand new villa with heated saltwater pool and air-conditioning that is within walking distance of the typical village of Eygalieres and is within 20 miles of Avignon.

This is a perfect house for a family with children, or for two couples with children. This property is not secluded, it is in a quiet residential area of Eygalieres and hiking and bike riding to wonderful places are within reach straight from the door.

Inside the villa the door opens up into a high ceiling beamed living room that houses a lime stone staircase which leads to the first floor. The entire house has been decorated with much love and care to ensure total comfort and not only for the eye. The living room has a beautiful fireplace and comfortable armchairs and sofas are placed in this area. The kitchen and dining room are all within eye sight, making the culinary cores quiet a delight. The kitchen is perfectly equipped. There is also a back kitchen and a wine cooler. The dressers are filled with beautiful earthen ware and good quality glasses for every use imaginable. There are numerous linen table clothes and sets for the tables inside and out. The house has fast speed Internet and Wifi, which is accessible in the office.

On the first floor there are 3 bedrooms; one queen bed and 2 singles. One double bedroom with en suite bathroom, a toilet and 2 single rooms that share a shower room and a toilet.

Off from the dining area there is a single ground floor room with a sofa bed that is adjacent to the studio, complete with a fitted kitchen and a day bed for one adult or two children. Up a flight of stairs is another double bedroom. The studio has a shower room and a toilet.

The house is fully air conditioned, via the floor cooling system. The floors are either Provencal lime stone or marble tiles. The kitchen is a chef’s delight that is fully equipped and has an open plan to keep the concept of cooking ‘convivial’. The well tendered gardens have a beautiful pool that is heated to 28°C it has a hard electric safety cover. There is a summer kitchen with a BBQ and outside dining and lounge area with comfortable furniture and a lovely garden bathroom that has a shower and a toilet. A beautifully organized herb garden is within reach of the kitchen and the petanque court too. Behind the house under the green oaks is a quiet area for reading or just relaxing in the shade in your hammock. There is another area that is covered where a table tennis table is located.

Special notes: The housekeeper can cook at the house. She cooks for the owners who are healthy eaters and so she is confident that her ‘light & healthy cooking' will be a success with the guests She charges 20 euros per hour for her time and will present the shopping receipts to the guests.

Location Details

  • This traditional Provencal villa is set within a short walk to one of the more famous villages of the Alpilles, where quiet cafes and starred restaurants line the small street of the ‘centre de village’of Eygalieres. St. Remy de Provence is 6 miles away.

Pool Details

  • The pool measures at 12 m x 6m and has a depth of 1 to 2m. The pool is heated from May to October with heating included in the price. The pool is set at 28°C and has a pool cover. The pool cover is to be used at night to keep the temperature as well as for safety. The pool has an alarm system for safety.

Staff Details

  • 14 hours of cleaning is included per week
  • Extra cleaning is at an additional cost of 20 euros per hour
