Casa Archimide is a two bedroom apartment located in the heart of the isle of Ortigia, which is the historical center of the city of Syracuse.

In the heart of the small but impressive island of Ortigia, the historical centre of Syracuse, history and modern comforts go hand in hand. The wonderful apartment “Casa Archimede” is located in a stylish baroque building, and is unusually spacious at 150 sqm. Beautifully designed, it is ideal for those who want to enjoy their holiday in company, with space to relax and spend time together but also plenty of opportunities to be alone for a while. “Casa Archimede” extends across two levels, easily connected by stairs.

he apartment features typical south Italian stone floors throughout. Every room is individual, lovingly decorated in modern or ethno style. Beautiful wooden ceilings lend it a magnificent warm atmosphere. The house faces a reduced-traffic street, about 50 metres away from the Fonte Aretusa (Aretusa Fountain), one of the best known and most frequently photographed sights in Ortigia.

  • Due to limited transportation in outlying and rural areas, a rental car is essential for stays at countryside villas in Italy. We are more than happy to arrange a car for you during your stay, please just let us know at time of booking.
  • Please note that Italy villas rent from Saturday to Saturday. Exceptions may be possible on a case by case basis and upon request.
  • The Italian government has implemented a Visitor’s Tax of €1.50 per person per day and applies to all overnight stays for the first seven days in the destination. This tax is payable to the local property manager.
