Situated along the coastline of Sicily overlooking the Ionian Sea, La Perla is a Mediterranean-style, cliff side villa perfect for entertaining small groups.

The energetic town of Taormina is less than a mile away, where there are many shops, restaurants, and historic sights. The three-leveled main villa (2,150 sq. ft.) is filled with spacious social areas, indoor and outdoor, and fine furnishings are in abundance throughout its rooms.

To entertain larger groups, three apartments can be added, Poppy (720 sq. ft.), Violet (520 sq. ft.), and Saffron (165 sq. ft.), which are situated below the main villa. Two apartments share a 600-sq.-ft. terrace. All can access the main villa by an outdoor spiral staircase and two with a separate entrance.

The views are truly remarkable at La Perla which is over 5,000 sq. ft. and reachable up a slightly disheveled road. The center of Taormina is less than 1 mile away, the beach is 2.5 miles away, and a beautiful golf course is 12 miles away.

Main Villa

Ground Floor: The dining area features a table for 8 people with a spacious living area with 8 comofortable chairs. The main living area features a marble fireplace, rich wall paneling, paintings, leather chairs, a grand piano and sitting areas. The kitchen is modern and spacious with a full pantry, however, use is limited to the full-time staff only. Laundry room has access to the barbeque area. 1 guest bathroom on this level.

First Floor: (10 steps upward): 1 single bedroom with en suite bathroom with shower.

Second Floor (8 additional steps upward): 1 queen bedroom and 1 twin bedroom each with en suite bathroom with shower.

Poppy (Residence 1): Studio space with architectural details, a large library, dining space, and full-working kitchen area. Studio space with 1 queen bed and bathroom where four natural rock steps lead to the glass shower doors.

Violet (Residence 2): Small duplex with 1 twin bedroom and 1 bathroom with shower.

Saffron (Residence 3): Small duplex with sitting and kitchen areas. 1 small single bedroom with bathroom with shower.

Sicily Villa Notes

  • Due to limited transportation in outlying and rural areas, a rental car is essential for stays at countryside villas in Italy. We are more than happy to arrange a car for you during your stay, please just let us know at time of booking.
  • Please note that Italy villas rent from Saturday to Saturday. Exceptions may be possible on a case by case basis and upon request.
  • The Italian government has implemented a Visitor’s Tax of €1.50 per person per day and applies to all overnight stays for the first seven days in the destination. This tax is payable to the local property manager.
