Vigna Mascalisi is a little one bedroom house located on the slopes of Mount Aetna.

The ideal love nest for two: on the slopes of Mount Etna, the highest active volcano in Europe, this delightful little vacation cottage nestles close to Ragalna, on an estate devoted to organic produce.

The estate also offers a little restaurant, a mini bed & breakfast (3 rooms) and a whole range of regional products such as excellent olive oil, wine, fruit and vegetables and other tasty treats. The house is built from local materials on organic principles, producing an earthy and functional rustic cottage. It is clad entirely with lava stone, using local chestnut wood for the roof, windows and doors, Simeto reeds in the ceilings, and Sicilian terracotta tiles on the walls and floors. The décor is in a functional style, selected with care. Tasteful additions of local handicrafts create a pleasant and cosy atmosphere.

The living and dining area, with its own practical bathroom, merges neatly into the kitchen niche. The bedroom is dominated by elegant natural colours expressing simple elegance. Outside, a large terrace and even a separate little garden are the perfect place to relax in the delightful rural hillside, surrounded by vineyards, old oak trees, olive groves and the typical low stone walls.
