Villa Plemmirio Sicily

Nature goes on stage all around Villa Plemmirio.

This cozy residence is situated on the southern side of Syracuse, one of the most seductive historical cities of Italy, and exactly in the core of the homonymous protected marine area of Plemmirio.

Instituted in 2004 this area is beloved by those ones who are fond of underwater exploring because of its submerged archaeological courses and numerous grottos they come across during the immersions. The property is enclosed by a wide garden with luxuriant oleanders, cactus, banana-trees and fan palms and is located just a few metres away from the sea where in between the crags you get the opportunity to have delightful bathes. The villa, privileged by its location, offers large and well-subdivided rooms featuring rustic style furnishings such as the living-dining room with little fireplace and sitting-room made out of reed, as well as the contiguous kitchen - endowed with wooden banks and big table - ideal meeting-place for the most convivial moments of the day… while on the backside of the accommodation an equipped porch invites you to have delicious meals en plain air.

Nevertheless, the real buttonholes of Villa Plemmirio - entirely developing at the ground floor and consisting also of two double rooms plus one twin room plus one shared bathroom - are its two balconies extended on the terrace viewing to the sea. This marine scenery, which a long time ago used to be sailed by the Carthaginian, Greek and Roman fleets, still in the present days, does not stop enchanting so plunged as it is in between colours and scents, especially at sunset when the sea and the sky get tinged with red.
