The Dune de Pyla, the biggest sand dune in Europe, is on the edge of the Bassin d' Arcachon, an area of outstanding natural beauty just 1 and a half hours north.

This area is also a golfers paradise, with 12 first class courses in the region. Biarritz and the regional capital Bayonne are only 30 minutes south for some cultural diversion, and 30 minutes inland is Dax, renowned for its thermal spas and hydrotherapy centres.

Grounds:

Six acres of woodland and mature gardens, large flat lawn ideal for children, badminton, croquet, children' s play area, 10 mountain bikes and helmets of varying sizes (available for rent), and table tennis. Private tennis court with 8 racquets, glass panel fence around floodlit swimming pool, poolhouse with bathroom, outdoor bar with well equipped summer kitchen and ample outdoor dining on pool terrace. The owners live in a separate accommodation within the grounds. As much of your stay at this property will be catered, the owners will need to use the kitchen and their own office.

Special Amenity

June to September includes a luxury catering package for up to 16 people: daily breakfast (full English and Continental) and afternoon tea, three lunches (choice of gourmet barbecue or 3-course lunch served on the pool terrace, or a picnic lunch which can be brought to an arranged meeting place), three 4-course evening meals with complimentary regional wine (A-la-carte wine list also available on request). Please note it is possible to have 6 evening meals instead of 3 lunches/3 evening meals).

The owners live independently in separate accommodation within the grounds and have an office within the main house should you require assistance.
