Amber House - AMH St. Barts

Overlooking the glorious Bay of Corossol and the Port of Gustavia on the Island of St. Barth sits the impressive and very private villa Amber House (AMH).

The sunset views of winter are replaced each evening with the lights of boats swaying on their moorings in the harbor below. Down the hill, the often deserted Corossol beach provides calm. gin clear waters for easy swimming. The subdued tones of AMH that set the mood for relaxation are punctuated by bright red and orange cushions on comfortable, large, gray sofas in a cozy alcove area. In the back, the living room opens on to the rock face, and in the front it opens on to a covered terrace and pool. The two main bedrooms are adjacent to the living area, one on each side. Subtle tones of blue and mauve accent the mauve bedroom. The bath is adorned in light blue with hand poured concrete sink tops and porcelain bowl sinks and a very large walk-in shower. The second bedroom of equal size is similarly appointed, but with a contrasting blue and beige theme. Both bedrooms open onto the deck and the spectacular view. A third bedroom is nestled away on the lower level. Outside, on the covered wooden deck, a large, orange themed dining area was designed for epicurean pleasures. AMH is a truly wonderful villa.

A large terrace in front of the villa offers a dining area overlooking the ocean.

Pretty gardens are at the entrance to the house.

Kitchen

The well-equipped gourmet kitchen comes with all the amenities and includes a coffee maker as well as stainless steel appliances, electric stove.

Dining Room

Outside, on the covered wooden deck, a large, orange themed dining area was designed for epicurean pleasures.

Living Room

The light and airy living room is equipped with a ceiling fan and furnished with large gray sofas and off-white furniture. It opens onto the terrace and ocean views.

Study

Outside of bedroom 1, small desk area and a half bath.

Bedroom 1

The air conditioned master bedroom comes with a ceiling fan and screens and is furnished with a king size bed with pink Missoni bedsprayed.Comfortable arm chairs are provided for relaxing. Amenities include a flat screen television, Ipod dock, as well as a DVD and CD player. The en suite bath is adorned in light blue with hand poured concrete sink tops, porcelain bowl sinks and a very large walk-in shower. Overlooks the mouth of Gustavia harbour.

Bedroom 2

The second master bedroom, located off the living-room and decored with dark green and light grey Missoni Fabrics is equal size as the master and similarly appointed with nice ocean views.

Bedroom 3

The third bedroom is slightly smaller and is located on the lower level. It is air conditioned and comes with a ceiling fan,screens and 2 Twin Beds ( Beds can be combined onto a king), Air Conditioning, The amenities include a flat screen TV, Ipod dock, DVD and CD Player. The doors open onto a small terrace and view.

Beach Details

  • A short drive to several island beaches (possible to walk down hill to Corossol Beach).

Staff Details

  • Meet and Greet at the airport or dock upon arrival.
  • Daily housekeeping except on Sundays and Public Holidays (sheets, bath and beach towels provided).
  • Concierge and Maintenance services.
