The Gestalt's charm begins to work its magic as you enter via the stone walkway through a flowering garden courtyard surrounded by lofty palm trees. This just-remodeled and updated home features open-air Mediterranean architecture showcasing stunning living and dining areas on two levels, where elegant furnishings lend a stylish tropical air incorporating cool tiled floors, a grand mahogany dining table, and where shady seclusion looks out to verdant plantings and serene ocean views. A brand-new kitchen has just been installed, featuring an arched pass-through to a counter lined with bar stools.

The adjacent bedroom wing with its four air-conditioned, screened bedrooms and four baths overlooks the very private pool and a large sun deck with cushioned teak patio furniture and a hammock. A private path leads down to The Gestalt's oceanside dock for diving and snorkeling.

Masterfully designed to combine maximum livability with style and unparalleled privacy, The Gestalt may also be combined with Steele Point villa, 1/3 mile down the Estate road, and/or with next-door Blackbeard's Hideaway (a new 2-bedroom villa on Steele Point Estate), to accommodate up to 22 persons.

  • Cable TV, DVD player, VCR, Bose iPod SoundDock for use at The Gestalt, radios, movie + music collections, books, games, A/C in all bedrooms; Wi-Fi for your laptop, answering machine, all-in-one printer/copier/scanner (in Estate manager's office); hair dryers, binoculars, hammock, gas grill, nylon Pack 'n' Play crib/playpen (please request in advance); beach chairs + cooler, automatic generator, electronic gate into the Estate, dishwasher, laundry; + a pathway down to the private dock for snorkeling on live coral reefs (the dock is shared by next-door Blackbeard's Hideaway). On-site concierge service, + complimentary transfer in private van with driver from airport or ferry to The Gestalt on arrival (OR follow your escort in your rental vehicle to The Gestalt).

  • A 4-wheel-drive rental jeep is recommended for the gestalt.
  • Steele Point Estate's on-site managers and full-service concierges, Justin & Natalie, live nearby the Estate. They are there to assist you with anything you might need, including island advice - but your privacy at Gestalt is completely assured.
  • You may rent The Gestalt as your own private villa for up to 8 persons, or combine it with either Steele Point or Blackbeard's Hideaway, or with both sister villas, to accommodate up to 22 persons on Steele Point Estate.
