Al Palazzaccio Tuscany

Al Palazzaccio is a large and spacious farmhouse with villa-like proportions located high in the hills north-west of Lucca, only 6 Km from the city walls.

From every vantage point, its guests enjoy commanding views of the plains of Lucca, while maintaining their privacy. The new American owners completely repainted the interior and exterior with subtle, earthen colors, and they furnished all of the rooms with Lucchese antiques. As the country kitchen attests, an old look has been achieved without sacrificing modern conveniences.

Since the owners also use Al Palazzaccio as their holiday home, it is equipped with all amenities, including TV, Stereo and Playstation. Discreet screens have been installed in all of the windows, so insects do not enter the house. Furthermore, fans are provided in every bedroom, assuring a comfortable sleep even during the hottest nights. Situated only steps from the house, the pool is surrounded by five hundred mature olive trees.

  • Due to limited transportation in outlying and rural areas, a rental car is essential for stays at countryside villas in Italy. We are more than happy to arrange a car for you during your stay, please just let us know at time of booking.
  • Please note that Italy villas rent from Saturday to Saturday. Exceptions may be possible on a case by case basis and upon request.
