Borgo Finocchieto is a hallowed destination like no other, combining the beauty and history of Tuscany in a tranquil setting where people from all over the world can relax, recreate and gather today and plan for tomorrow.

Borgo Finocchieto, unique among luxury villas in Tuscany, is a beautifully and elegantly restored eight hundred year old village, or “borgo,” with stunning views located thirty minutes south of Siena and very close to Montalcino in the Brunello wine growing district.

The Borgo encompasses twenty two bedrooms and suites in the manor house and four village homes arranged around its central piazza, which allows it to function as its own community. Gathering spaces in the private estate include a formal dining room and outdoor dining terrace, a living room with grand piano, study, media room, library, bar, conference center and ballroom for fifty, cantina and wine tasting room, a professional teaching kitchen, an interior arcaded courtyard, a piazza, and extensive lawn and garden spaces with various shaded benches and a gazebo. Recreational facilities include a 60’ oval swimming pool, a fully equipped gym, spa, tennis and basketball court, and bocce court. Individual suites are ample, luxurious, and private, although the public spaces are intended to encourage coming together in all the forms that might take.

The Borgo houses are available for rental on an individual basis or as a total entity. Full property bookings, defined by the Finocchieto manor house, includes exclusive use of all facilities. Stays are limited to a 3 night minimum and always subject to current bookings.

Filippi

Exclusive use of 2 en-suite bedrooms, living and dining area, private outdoor terrace, fireplace, and full kitchen. 27000 song iPod with surround sound in living area. A/C in each bedroom. 4 guest maximum.

Food and Beverage Plan Details

Each booking includes

Daily breakfast buffet, full staff of 19 consisting of General Manager/Concierge, wait staff, private chef, daily housekeeping and evening turndown, and use of all common areas. Common areas consist of tennis court, basketball court, 5 mountain and 8 titanium road bikes, bocce court, croquet with all equipment provided, satellite TV room, use of conference room for meetings, movie screenings, gaming room, dance hall, and dining. Use of our fully stocked library. Use of the 60 foot oval pool with beds, chairs, tables, a refreshment center, towels and inflatables.(May through October.) Use of the spa and fully equipped professional gym with 17 Cybex workout machines, 2 ellipitcals, treadmill, bench, exercise mats, medicine balls, free weights, with full use of all towels and bottled water stocked and replenished daily. Gym and spa area attendant. Mini bars stocked daily in all suites (Finocchieto villa) and in all villa refrigerators. Daily stocked snacks in all suites (Finocchieto villa) and in all villa pantries. There is also a telescope for stargazing (Konusmotor-70mm Refractor Telescope). In suite iPods (Finocchieto Villa) and iPods in individual villa common seating areas, gym and spa. Use of gaming systems - Nintendo Wii, Playstation 3, and Xbox. High speed internet, wireless connectivity (property wide,) business center, fax, intra room calling, personal phone number with messaging feature (all bedrooms and suites.) Individual a/c and radiant heat control in each bedroom and suite. Full bath amenities, slippers, Mascagni linens, safe, and guest book in each bedroom and suite.
