Casa Marcanda is a beautiful and newly restored farmhouse located in an exceptional area that is lush with varied landscapes and woodlands in marvelous Val di Chio.
Close to the medieval town of Castiglion Fiorentino, this area is very well known for being a fundamental crossroad between Arezzo and Cortona.
Casa Marcanda was only restored a few years ago with much attention paid to detail, preserving as much of the original features as possible. When you reach this property, at the top of the hill you will discover a breathtaking view and will want to touch the sky. From the pool and terrace you can admire the exceptional beauty of the Tuscan countryside as well as a patch of the town.
It is the ideal location to relax, spend some time immersed in nature or take a long walk down the trekking paths in and around the region. In fact,many interesting locations like Arezzo, Cortona, Montepulciano, Pienza and Montalcino can be reached by a short drive. Umbria is 20 minutes away where you will find Lake Trasimeno with its lovely fishing villages.
The house is composed of a very large and fully equipped built-in kitchen with a full range of modern appliances and utility cupboard. There is a furnished dining room with a large table for 12 people, a fireplace, 3 double bedrooms, 1 twin bedroom, 2 extra beds, 4 bathrooms (1 with double shower and 3 with bath and shower) and laundry facilities and one extra fridge.
Outdoor
A beautiful and large terrace with a dining table under the pergola, sun lounges and comfortable sofas. The very large pool is equipped with chairs, sun lounges and umbrellas and has a little toilette and changing room with an outdoor shower nearby.
