Casale dell'Olivio Tuscany
Located in the Tuscan hills 10 minutes west of Lucca, this beautifully restored, 18th century, 5 bedroom farmhouse is set on 40 acres of olive trees and vineyards.
From here one can enjoy the daily town life of the walled city of Lucca, the beach resort of Forte dei Marmi (30 minutes) or spend a day in Florence (45 minutes).
The farmhouse is set on a hill, off of a paved country road through a private gate. Views in all directions are of rolling, wooded hills and on a clear day one can see the Leaning Tower in Pisa. The house was recently restored and the interior designed by the finest craftsmen with respect for both Tuscan traditions and the highest standards of comfort. It has six large modern bathrooms, five large bedrooms, and four fireplaces.
The house is filled with light and inviting open spaces. The ground floor opens to the outdoor terrace from four pairs of large wooden doors (the original stable doors). There is outdoor dining under the pergola and a covered outdoor living area. There are walled gardens, a 60 foot long mosaic pool, and an outdoor pizza oven.
The house is equipped with cable television, flat screen TV and surround sound in the living room. There are screens throughout the house. The third floor is air-conditioned.
First Floor:
- Kitchen: fully furnished, equipped for fine cooking, opens to pergola and outdoor dining

- A simple luncheon of pasta, salad, cheese and ice cream will be served for Euro 100 per meal (Groceries and drinks excluded to be paid upon presentation of receipts)
- A more formal lunch, with a first dish, main dish and dessert will be served for Euro 150 per meal (Groceries and drinks excluded to be paid upon presentation of receipts)

- Rentals are from Saturday to Saturday with the arrival time being after 4:00pm and departure prior to 11:00am.

- Due to limited transportation in outlying and rural areas, a rental car is essential for stays at countryside villas in Italy. We are more than happy to arrange a car for you during your stay, please just let us know at time of booking.
- Please note that Italy villas rent from Saturday to Saturday. Exceptions may be possible on a case by case basis and upon request.
