This 5 bedroom villa, dating from the 16th century, still retains the atmosphere of an antique Templar residence.
The central part of the villa and the right wing have recently been totally restored, maintaining the cotto floors and the beamed ceilings, yet adding all modern comforts. To the front of the villa, there is a beautiful stone courtyard where it is possibile to enjoy the meals prepared by the helpful staff, who lives on the premises. Just 100 meters away a swimming pool was installed among the olive groves.
Villa di Montelopio is situated in the village it is named after, just 15 minutes drive from the medieval village of Castelfalfi, with its renowned 18 hole golf course. The famous Tuscan cities and towns of Volterra, Florence, Pisa, Lucca, San Gimignano and Siena are easily accessible from the property.
