This very attractive villa was originally built in the second half of the 19th Century, and has recently been completely renovated throughout. It is situated only 4 kms from Greve in Chianti on the famous Chianti road which links Florence and Siena.
The views from the property are like a picture of typical Chianti landscape. As far as the eye can see, there are gently rolling hills covered with vineyards and olive groves. Villa Montoro, mid-way between Florence and Siena, is an ideal base for sightseeing and trips to both the larger Tuscan cities and the smaller towns.
Within the well-maintained garden with trees and flower beds, there is a swimming pool, surrounded by a terrace with changing room and outdoor shower. The interiors of the house have beamed ceilings, terracotta floors and are furnished with comfortable, traditional furniture and antiques. There is a very well-equipped kitchen and modern bathrooms. The owner lives in a separate apartment on the estate.
Central heating. A wireless LAN network has been installed at the property for guests who wish to access internet during their stay. The property also has SKY cable television which allows guests to view movies, news and cartoons in English.
Ground Floor: Entrance hall, opening to a sun terrace with dining table and chairs; sitting room; sitting room with satellite TV; dining room, opening to a small terrace with dining area; kitchen with large American fridge/freezer with ice/water dispenser, microwave and dishwasher.
First Floor: Twin bedroom; 3 double bedrooms; twin bedroom, opening to a small covered terrace; 2 shower bathrooms and one bathroom with bath.
Guest House: - 4 People (available on request) Sitting/dining room with TV; kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine; double bedroom; twin bedroom; bathroom. This villa can be rented as a 5 bedroom excluding the guesthouse.
