Villa di Rosano Tuscany

Villa di Rosano is an attractive farmhouse in the low hills in the countryside around Florence, surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. It was built in the 14th century as a military fort and lies in a dominating and panoramic location.

A small church going back to the 11th century and a convent from medieval times are evidence of the rich history this place has witnessed. The external areas and the area around the swimming-pool are extremely pleasant and the pool is equipped with a dressing-room with a shower and a gazebo. The center of Florence can be reached in about 20 minutes by car (about 15 km). Pontassieve is 3 km away and is the closest town, with services and shops of all kinds and a railway station as well, giving easy links to the old city centers of the Tuscan art cities.

Ground Floor: Large living/dining-room with TV and fireplace, kitchen/dining-room with oven, freezer, dishwasher and washing-machine, and with direct access to a loggia furnished for dining outside, billiard-room, 1 small bathroom with shower.

First Floor: Living-room with fireplace, 2 double bedrooms, 1 bedroom with three beds, 2 bathrooms with shower, up a stair and you come to a double bedroom.

  • Due to limited transportation in outlying and rural areas, a rental car is essential for stays at countryside villas in Italy. We are more than happy to arrange a car for you during your stay, please just let us know at time of booking.
  • Please note that Italy villas rent from Saturday to Saturday. Exceptions may be possible on a case by case basis and upon request.
  • The Italian government has implemented a Visitor’s Tax of €1.50 per person per day and applies to all overnight stays for the first seven days in the destination. This tax is payable to the local property manager.
