Bellosguardo Umbria

Bellosguardo is a gracious farmhouse in the green valley of “Valdichiana” and is most famous in Tuscany for the sunflowers and wheat fields that surround this beautiful country house.

The house is surrounded by beautiful landscaping where you can enjoy a wonderful view of Cortona.

It was recently restored and transformed into a lovely farmhouse. The works have been carried out preserving as much as possible of the original features using old and recuperated materials exclusively from the area. The house is located in a strategic position; on the border between Tuscany and Umbria. From here you can reach the following locations that are within a short drive; Cortona, The Lake Trasimeno, Montepulciano and many other interesting borgos.

The house composes of a living room, bathroom, bedroom with 2 single beds and kitchen on the ground floor. On the first floor there are 3 large double bedrooms, one with en-suite bathroom with shower, 1 convertible twin with an extra bed, a large bathroom with shower and sauna. On the outside you can enjoy lovely moments immersed in nature and relax while admiring the beautiful Tuscan countryside. Outside the kitchen has a lovely table for outdoor meals, a barbeque, and the infinity edge swimming pool offers a direct view to Cortona.

Umbria Villa Notes

  • Due to limited transportation in outlying and rural areas, a rental car is essential for stays at countryside villas in Italy. We are more than happy to arrange a car for you during your stay, please just let us know at time of booking.
  • Please note that Italy villas rent from Saturday to Saturday. Exceptions may be possible on a case by case basis and upon request.
  • The Italian government has implemented a Visitor’s Tax of €1.50 per person per day and applies to all overnight stays for the first seven days in the destination. This tax is payable to the local property manager.
