Sugar Mill Villa Virgin Gorda

Sugar Mill Villa, built as a modern replica of a sugar mill from island plantation days long past, showcases creative architecture with a contemporary twist.

Constructed of stone and offering three levels, it boasts two swimming pools on two levels overlooking Savannah Bay, Little Dix Bay and Long Bay.

The home has a bedroom suite on the middle and top floors, each with their own private pool. Both one-bedroom suites feature air-conditioning, a king bed dressed in fine linens and a fully equipped gourmet kitchen.

Through curtained french doors, the Garden Suite's stunning blue pool is set in a flagstone garden terrace where cushioned lounge chairs await. Around the outside curve of the Sugar Mill is another, larger flagstone terrace and shaded pavilion with dining table, more cushioned armchairs and a large gas grill for outdoor island living.

Up in the Rooftop Suite, through french doors, is a private balcony with cushioned chairs, perfect for watching sunsets. Just outside, a stone staircase curves up to Sugar Mill Villa's rooftop, where a second private pool and terrace overlooks the sea. The Rooftop terrace offers tables, a sofa, cushioned chairs and lounge chairs, plus a second gas grill for poolside meals.

Sugar Mill Villa is surrounded by flowering tropical gardens set amongst boulders, and enjoys memorable ocean views. Behind the Sugar Mill for your exploration are 19th-century historic stone ruins of Nail Bay's old sugar plantation, and although secluded on a private hillside, Nail Bay's restaurant and bar is just a short walk away.
