Activities

If you need more diversion than relaxing on the beach under a palm tree, St. Thomas offers an almost bewildering number of ways to spend your vacation.

Watersports are abounding on St. Thomas. Scuba, snorkeling, sailing, windsurfing and surfing can be easily arranged. Day-Sailing aboard a Yacht is a delightful way to experience the waters of the U.S. Virgin Islands. The captain and crew will take guests to remote beaches for swimming and snorkeling. Most provide lunch and beverages.

The Mahogany Run Golf Course is acclaimed by golfers featuring 18 challenging holes with spectacular scenery. Or, try your hand at tennis, as most every resort has a court available for you to use.

Beaches

Magens Bay, North Side is St. Thomas' most popular beach and is called one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The water is usually very calm with no waves or current, great for floating along and for swimming. There is also a watersports booth that rents paddle boats, kayaks and sunfish.

Smith Bay Park (formerly Lindquist Beach), East End, is located on the East end of St. Thomas, off of Smith Bay Road. The shore at this beach is covered in bright white sand with a faint touch of pink. This is a popular swimming and sunning area, known for calm, terrifically blue water. And heading west the swimming area gives way to another area of the beach, a very shallow shelf that extends for the remainder of the bay

Hull Bay
Surfers will want to head to Hull Bay as this is considered the best surfing in St. Thomas (especially in winter!)

Coki Beach is located next to Coral World and is good but can be crowded when cruise ships are in port.
